Planning on either shoulder or back today. Don't know cause I get a steroid shot for my knee yesterday morning and this shiz kept me up all night long wired and horny.
If you have the energy to do any cardio on leg or back day than you didn't hit it with enough intensity therefor no gains !!.
Hm...or you had a pretty awesome stimulant c0cktail before haha. But then again , after leg day I can't even walk back home, its more like a crawl..., so Tunavar and Steakadrol are back in business Rob?

benmayro said:how much you weigh bro
benmayro said:nice buddie! packing on some weight
I'm glad it's working out so well for you! Yeah, initially the hardest part was definitely adjusting to a new eating schedule because I'd be ravaging come post-wo, but I've gotten used to that and I've adjusted my hours to 14/10. I get hunger pains now and then but don't take anything for appetite suppression or energy, so I am looking into fat burners at the moment. I need all the energy I can get. Do you have any recs?
I've been on IF for a little over 2 weeks now and haven't noticed much of a difference in weight, it's up one week down the next, but perhaps it is too soon to tell. I notice on days that I lift I get headaches after I eat and that continues the rest of the night making it difficult to sleep. On my off days this isn't so much of a problem. I wonder if it's just me or if other peeps experience that too.
ETA: Congrats DJ and Ms DJ! Wishing you love, luck and laughter!
benmayro said:you have a high food intake
benmayro said:yes, a qyestion sorry bud.. if you are eating calories you shoukd still be making gains
when I played I only weighed 150. Now I'm at 165 or so.

Jbeezee said:Mre's are pretty calorie packed. Idk if you have access or not. I would assume so.
Jim2542 said:Lol you ever looked at the nutrition facts? Sugar and Trans fat. Maybe 30 grams of protein in the 11-1200 calories. The rest is all sugars and lots of trans fat. I only eat them if I have no other options.
Jbeezee said:Oh yes I've looked at them. But it's better than nothing. I have a few in my basement actually.
Jim2542 said:I normally pack something to eat. It's really a sodium problem that I have with MREs, doc told me low sodium to keep the BP down.

Do you get your headaches only on the days you lift SINCE started LG? Or do you typically get headaches all the time just lifting in general? Have you ever gotten headaches from doing cardio? When I first started getting back into cardio YEARS ago I would get really nasty pounding headaches sometimes even during my run that would force me to stop. With the increased cardiac output from exercise I feel like sometimes it can cause some headaches due to the sudden dilation of unexpected bloodflow. Some of your electrolytes may be unbalanced as well. I believe that when I got nasty cramps in my legs from sprints with HIIT was due to a lack of sodium in my diet. So make sure you are taking a good multi and getting in the proper nutrients from your food! Now if these don't get triggered until you eat... perhaps the sudden release of certain hormones in the body from eating the food is triggering the headaches. I know that when I finally break the fast with a big meal I can feel heat ALL OVER my body flushing me everywhere... I'm pretty sure its the insulin release. Do you take ibuprofen?
gokix811 said:When I was eating around the clock I never used to get headaches (breakfast, lunch, dinner) after I was done eating. Since I've started LG I have been getting headaches. I take a multi-vitamin and fish oil daily. In the mornings I sip on some Powerade Zero which I believe contains electrolytes. Hopefully I can break this down so it makes sense...
I have mild, chronic headaches in the morning (off and lifting days) which I associate with fasting/hunger pains and that is something I can deal with. On my off days I break my fast around 1-2 pm and feel fine during the day even with an added cardio session. No problem there. I even get better sleep on my off/cardio days.
However, on lifting days, the headaches get progressively worse once I break my fast (3-4pm), so I think it is triggered once I start eating. The only difference in diet on this day is that I am taking in more carb/less fat, which is what LG calls for. I am breaking up my meals into 3 smaller ones on both on/off days so I can still get my macros in, but don't take in such a high volume of food all at once.
The first few times I took ibuprofen but it didn't do anything for the headaches so I've stopped taking it. I get no/little sleep on my lifting days due this heavy feeling in my chest, nausea, and the nasty pounding headaches that keep me up. It sucks because, on the one hand, I look forward to my lifting days, but I know once I finish I'm going to feel like crap and the rest of the day is gonna suck major donkey balls.

Yea man. I was just at the grocery today thoughbut I'll make another trip and give it a shot. I hope my POS blender can handle it... lol... I'll make a video of it. How's that?
!
Oh snap looks like Shrek's doggie bowl!
Celorza said:Its the best daythat and deadlift day haha. The best squat day for me is when I make it all BB compounds, seriously do that and work the high volume assistance and you can't walk for 24hrs haha. Go for 5/3/1 squat + front squat + romanian deadlift + weighted sit ups OR Hip Raises and BOOM haha.
