I will be posting the last pictures up tomorrow, sorry I didn't do it yesterday, kinda blew my knee out a bit and had to go to the hospital, so get ready tomorrow, don't miss out on those last 3 points!
 
Hope your knees ok. I've had on going knee issues since I was 16 so I feel your pain.

Injuries definitely aren't fun, sorry to hear it. Do you know what structures in your knee were damaged? And how'd you do it? (PT student here, so it's always interesting to hear)

Did it during boxing, twisted too much into a punch, I kept training for about an hour longer and ignored the pain. When I drove home and got out of the car I was limping, sat down for about an hour, went to get up and couldn't at all. I can't put my leg straight or bend it in all the way, my knee isn't letting me take all my weight on it either, been using crutches.

The Dr. didn't give me any type of scan and told me he thinks it's just torn cartilage and it will heal on it's own. But think I'm gonna go back in and see if I can get a cat scan or something, it's been 3 days now with no improvement. Can't stand being stuck not able to move around.

Dang, sounds a lot like an injury to the mensicus, which is cartilaginous like the doc said. It is basically the pad between where the bone of the thigh meets the main bone of the lower leg. Hopefully though you just did some minor damage, in which case it will get better in time, which is probably the case since you were able to just go on while ignoring the pain. How severe is the swelling, if any?

Swelling on the outside isn't too bad, hopefully it heals up quick, gonna go back anyways to get a scan incase it does need surgery.

Absolutely. I'd always err on the side of caution and get the imaging done. That's a much more definitive way to tell for sure!
 
I'm sure most people have seen him in a more recent movies, but he is well known for a movie he did in the 80's
