asianbabe's PAL transformation

I did when I went to Colorado and I yelled, "Drago!" when I got to the top of the hill.

That's actually a rule about snow running. If you come to the top of a hill, it is imperative that you stop, hold both fists in the air, and shout "DRAGO!!!!!!" at the top of your lungs. If you do not do this, they will kill you. ;)

big ups to Pu12en12g for creating the banner

Thursday workout:
  • db shoulder press 7,5,5 x 12s
  • bb skulls 3x12x12.5
  • wide grip upright row 3x10x10
  • assisted dips 15,12,8
  • abs
  • hypers
  • cable chest press 3x12x99
  • machine shoulders 10,9,9x30
  • cg bench 3x10x20
  • tricep pushdowns 15,13,13x50
  • cable side raises 3x15
  • rowing: 3km
  • PM - 40min elliptical

One rep PR today for shoulder presses.. woooooo!

I read an interesting article.. talks about upside down training.. apparently it will be good to use for a few weeks when you've plateaued to give your big muscle groups a break and bring up lagging bodyparts and ultimately improve your big lifts after the program..

To illustrate.. say you do a typical push/pull/legs split

Order of the workout would go something like:

triceps
shoulders
chest

biceps
abs
back

calves
hams
quads

wonder if anyone has tried something similar before.. for myself I've been doing shoulders first for "push" days, hitting them whilst they're fresh seems to help with growth, there might be some logic in here..

thats the upside downedness. Makes sense at least for a short span to always hit them when they are fresh, then do compounds after. That way too when you do the compounds like say benchpress, you know you are recruiting more chest muscle, as the biceps aren't doing as much

Hey sinner give a good example of the use of adverbs. I seem to always have to cut down my papers. Possibly unconscious of overuse of adverbs

PP, like easy said.. you target your accessory muscles first.. and bring them up. This is not a normal routine, rather, you are supposedly trying to incorporate it into your routine during parts of the year, when plateaus occur. (say 3-4 weeks or so only).

Ultimately, it will result in better development of your bis/tris/calves/abs etc and help with your main lifts in the interim. Wanna guinea pig it??

Methodice, sinner's last post was full of adverbs, I think I use to many adjectives in my papers :/

You have some unconscious use of unnecessary adverbs in that post (see bold).

For when I have to write work instructions, things are kept as simple as possible. Only use adverbs when they are imperative for describing a verb or adjective.

e.g. Slowly heat up the pot. Quickly consume after mixing.

Nope, a good rule of thumb is any word that ends in "ly" is an adverb.

correct. Adjectives can only describe a noun. Adverbs can describe a verb or an adjective.

e.g. Sinner is amazingly gorgeous. Sinner strenuously weight trains.

WELLL

I just did some recovery biking today, and yesterday I did back.

I did take some pics the other day, but i'm not too happy with them, so I might post them at the end

It is called pre-exhaustion and similar to pre-fatigue.
I am currently doing such for a 12 week program.

Also, any exercise you start out with will benefit most, and the same goes with each training week. If you want to prioritize a muscle group you do it on day 1 instead of the middle of the week or end.

Ok, "says the man who never posts pictures of himself, just scantily clad women".

So actually AB he could post your pictures for you :D

Peeps hey.. been a bit occupied the past few days... had a birthday party (with some drinky drinky), also visited my gramps, but he didn't remember me :(.

I took Sunday off, but Monday was push+cardio, Tuesday was morning cardio on the stepper before spending the whole day at school.. today was back and some cardio. I did some partials deads (rack deadlifts) for 8 reps at 60kg. That was about the only noteworthy highlight.

Here are the mid way pics I took the other day for you pic whores..

Killer left Bi dude! hahah you're lookin good dude, err better! hahah

That's a tough thing to deal with... the Gramps situation.

Happy Belated. I can tell you're older from your pictures. :D

great job on keeping your arms symmetrical on the double back bi shot. That is very hard to do. Tuck your thumbs in your fist or you get deducted points, just a tip. ;)

Looking good Liv. You have a great figure and your tummy is looking very flat (in the good way.)

Hey whats up Rodja, sorry for slacking, things are still the same over here, still working out nothing drastically new. As for my being a little less active on the forums, I have to say I'm not very impressed with the modding going around here, with quality people getting banned left and right, forums being deleted, I don't know it is worth my logging in here. (And this is by no means a dig at any of you guys at all, you're all awesome, seriously).

It's just some of the rules here that I don't particularly agree with, sure if you don't like it you can leave, but what can you do when you're one of the sponsors here :):o

Yah I'm still here. I've just finished one bottle of incarnate, and have taken reset ad for some time now. I'm completely off stims which is really amazing.

What else can I say.. here's today's workout: Tri-sets/circuits: 3sets x 15, rested after 3 sets of each triple.

*db shoulder press
*db row
*db bulgarian squats

*db tricep extension
*db flyes
*db side raises

*lat pulldown
*leg press
*ball crunches

*cable rows
*single leg extensions
*dips machine

The one thing good about morning training is you can run around and be a hoggit with all the equipment :)

hoggit as in hog as in
occupy the use of without letting anyone else possess it.. ermm I can't define it any better than that! Also bought some new shoes today, they're orange! :D

yeah i know hog as in being a hog as in taking over and not sharing...it, as in hobb-IT lol.

Orange shoes! post pic.

where are the mouth watering meals? you are dissappointing me Liv lol, j/k

haha alrightI have no idea which part of my language you guys can understand or not! sorry :/

no yummy meals today :( Was at school the whole day.

Dad's birthday today, hopefully not too much damage will be done.
This might be the last workout I log here:

Sunday 28th October

4 sets x 15 for all supersets

Wide lat pulldown + romanian deadlifts
Decline ab crunches + leg press
Tricep dips + Back machine row
Incline db press + barbell curls

This workout made me soaking wet, due to very little rest apart from moving from one exercise to another. Keeps me focused though, can't stop to daydream. However, this douche kept talking to me and asking questions when I was doing dips. At least wait until I'm finished the set gaddamit. Why do I always forget my mp3 player on days like these?! grrr
