Lol..one thing I have noticed is that no matter what you do to minimize fat gain while bulking you might still put on some while your muscles are growing. My arms and other muscles don't gain a millimeter unless there is some variation on the scale. I have never experienced my muscles getting bigger while weight was going down. Unless you're on gear you just won't build muscle and shred fat simultaneously. It's not gonna happen..unless you're a teen. Teenagers who lift have all their hormones at the right levelsShort version: look at your weight and compare it to the way you look in the mirror. If I dropped 10 lbs but look flabby I haven't accomplished anything. The scale is a guide, food is the mechanism, the mirror is the final judge

That's definitely not true and a gross generalization. I know plenty of people who aren't on "gear" that have simultaneously dropped body fat while making gains in lean body mass. I'm one of them. If your diet is clean and you're training program is on point there is no reason you can't make gains in muscle while dropping BF.
This majorly depends on genetics, age etc. my diet is perfection my training is on point. Unless you were recording body fat and muscle measurements continually I doubt you could have seen drastic gains in muscle while losing body fat. I have read time and time again that unless you're a newbie or a teen this is virtually impossible. But please don't mention my diet I eat healthier than anyone I know. I didn't even eat like crap on thanksgiving. My diet is completely 100 percent spot on perfection and I eat nothing that is processed I eat 100 percent organic, keep a log for my workouts and have never regressed in my workouts. The one time I lost 8 pounds and continued to go up on strength in a calorie deficit naturally, I maintained ALL muscle mass but certainly didn't gain any. It's an illusion of muscle because you become harder and leaner....and othello you're 277 lbs and have never used gear??...I've only been lifting nearly 3 yrs and I'll be turning 28 this monthThat's definitely not true and a gross generalization.
