Article: You Shouldn't Eat Grains

You don't need meat or fruit to survive either, enjoy your terrible food selections.

Also stating something doesn't make it true, but I guess evidence is a little too much to ask for from the huffington post.

Well I stopped eating grains and it has had no ill effect on my strength or mass. Only change is in my waist line, I don't bloat as often and I'm more regular. I have gerd and it has definitely helped with that

So glad Im not the only one who lost interest 3 sentences in. I tried though but it was so easy to just keep scrolling

Agreed, didn't realize how bad I felt till I got off the grains and felt so much better. Never been diagnosed with any kind of intolerance but I have noticed a change. Now I only have jasmine rice once a week.

What you ultimately need to get to is half your plate in meat, half your plate in colorful vegetables. Serving size? The size of your hand.

Metabolic efficiency training.

Oh, I thought you had some data based info to support your claim.
Like the common knowledge fact that larger bodies require greater intake than smaller bodies? If you need a linked study for that I don't know what to tell you. Google is your friend I guess. As long as we're being scientific though, whose hand are we using to measure the portion in question and what weight at what level of body fat are we shooting for? And the height in question?

Okay, you keep believing your bro science.

If you believe you need calories from grains to get big, you are mistaken.
I'm not going to debate with you.

Hand size portions, bros. Do you need them? No. Does it make things a **** ton easier when you join the big boy club and need 5k~ calories daily? Yep. Considering grains have no documented ill effect on bodies without a genetic dysfunction is it smart even if not necessary to utilize grains? Yep, unless you are dysfunctional, of course. You must have gigantic hands if you're able to hit 5k daily in broccoli and chicken breasts. Kudos, Mr. Scientist. How about you keep the bro science out of it?

You obviously know more than Olympic nutrition coach/ registered dietician bob seebohar. My bad, but I'm sorry, I'll listen to the guy training elite level athletes.

Your reading comprehension obviously sucks. As far as I know, bodybuilding isn't an olympic sport and requires an entirely different set of protocols than long distance jogging.

Building muscle requires caloric surplus. The bigger you are, the more calories are required for a surplus. At a certain point, fist sized portions won't cut it. At another level, calorie dense carbs (grains) are extremely helpful, if not technically necessary. I'm sure Seebohor is a great jogger but I don't give a **** about that.

5,000 calories is 5k calories, no matter what athlete you stick it in.
You keep getting most of your kcals from carbs.

Again, you must have giant hands. Shovels. I'll continue being bigger than a hs junior, too. Let me know when you can say the same. Bob too. Does he even lift? It sure as **** doesn't look like it. While you're being all scientific and ****, show me a study where grains are detrimental to healthy people. Not mice, not health compromised people... healthy people.
