Article: The Skinny On Egg Fats

Being raised on a farm and being fed fresh eggs every morning for countless years, I heard this analysis of eggs and it seemed almost laughable to me. I have no problem seeing the foods "associated" in our culture to be consumed with eggs causing heart disease. However, as stated, if you are looking for it, you will find it. Great article.

I totally agree with this entire article. Well said. And its not just because we're bodybuilders
looking for a way out, but you're rite, they did the research on people who some are already obese, being cared for and who are probably still eating processed bacon, sausages, butter.margarine etc., along with these eggs. Lots of variables were left open.

Do the same research on healthy athletes eating a clean diet who consume say 3-5 whole
eggs daily and I'll maybe believe it..but then again, 1/3 population (athletes included) could already have high cholesterol due to liver so they would have to test and do some screening before hand...but nobody's going to fund it. Eggs are just great, I never felt better.

"Saturated fat intake in the stoneage was next to nil"- This would have been an informative, recommendable read if it weren't for this glaringly illogical statement. The consensus of paleoanthropoligists is that for most humans of the era, with variance according to geography, saturated fats would incur 50-80% of total caloric intake. Probably close to 100% during winter months. I mean seriously? Think about it. Prehistoric game animals were loaded with saturated fat, and for a good reason. You think those guys were munching on lettuce and wheat stalks? Hell no, they left that **** for feral pigs and horses. Aside from this glaringly ignorant miscalculation, good read.

Please don't put the huffingtonpost as a source. They aggregate content.. find the origin and source THAT instead.

Oh wait except it's literally the direct article... OH NO! You aggregate content too!!

Oops.

Methinks that junk food is the culprit.
Most of the obesity and health problems come from overly processed foods.
These studies demonizing eggs and red meat need to stop.
