Well duh, the bench press is better than pullovers, but the pullover is a good and old timey exercise to throw in your routine just to mix things up! Edit- also everytime i do pullovers my teres major gets insanely sore!
F this, pullovers are awesome for chest development and rib cage expansion. Go a bit lower and you get great lat and serratus stimulation.
Pull overs are for your lats lol. If your focusing on anything else your going to end up with shoulder and or elbow pain. It blows my mind how people have no idea of the mechanics of exercise.

Really? Well, Kai Greene does them for chest. I think he might know a thing or two about it.
What does he attribute his chest development too from these ......2% maybe. There is a bit of chest in the movement...and you can focus your attention on chest during the movement if you wish. But there are allot better chest building exercises (not talking about pressing here) then a pullover.
Anyways, its about what works for you bud.

Pullovers for triceps? What?
I do them for bringing out definition in some of the rib cage muscles (serratus, ect..). Rib cage expansion sounds nice but I don't buy into that too much. I've done pullovers for years and I've never noticed any kind of expansion whatsoever.
And it's not a pullover unless you're perpendicular to the bench. If you're completely on the bench (parallel) then it's the equivalent of doing girl push ups.
Don't get your panties in a twist buddy. For the record I rarely do pullovers. I do a lot of presses, flys, and dips for chest. All I'm saying is that they may have their place amongst chest training. Especially since people who know what they are talking about like to include them in their chest training. Ok pal?Bud, I think you need add an AI to your supplementation protocol. And good luck building your chest using pull overs lmao.
