Sugar makes you fat because of insulin.

Insulin shuts off lypolosis.

When your liver and muscle cells are full of glycogen, you then convert sugar to fat.

So if you eat carbs and are basically sedentary, you are double dipping it, not burning fat, and storing it.

And don't get me started on inflammation from too much carbs.
