Like arnold said doms is the only way to know youre growing. The only reason you eventually stop becoming sore is because either your body becomes used to your training or the muscle your training just isn't going to get any bigger. Especially if you're natty. It's not like growth is unlimited. You will eventually stop being sore simply because there is no more growth ability for that particular muscle. This is fact.
