Well, you have to think about it like this.
You get a cut, pt sales gets a cut, his boss gets a cut, gym gets a cut, corporate gets a cut.
And I'm sure there are more.
When you really think about it, the trainers are probably getting the biggest cut.
When you go into business for yourself, you eliminate all that.
I've worked as a pt for a gym where I had to get my own clients, and I received about 50% of what I sold and serviced.
This allowed me to learn I am not good at sales, but am good at retaining clients.
I quit that 50k a year job to basically work at la fitness.
And I love it. I'm doing what I love to do with most people appreciating me because I'm not about the money, and am good at what I do.
I work 40 or more hours a week. Make my own schedule. No one tells me what to do.
I love it!
