Awesome article and so true, I started about 8 weeks ago on all my leg, shoulder, back, and bench press stopping on every set and holding at the top for 2 seconds. Your right it's an eye opener instead of 5 setting 290 265 for five becomes difficult when stopping every rep. But like you said I have gained mass and strength along with some humility by training this way. Thanks for the support I'm going to keep this up until I can reach my goal of 405 with a competition pause. By the way I'm 50 and weigh 185lbs
 
You need to pause at the bottom, not the top. Not that your method won't produce results, it's just not what the author is discussing.
