AP questions

i just started AP this week. i am currently doing DoggCrapp style training and diet. DC diet for those that don't know is basically seperating carbs from fats and having a carb cutoff so i basically eat my first 4 meals as carb+protein, and last 2 meals of the day as pro+fats. i average about 300g carbs/300g protein/100g fat each day with no carbs after 12am (i work nights so i usually go to bed around 6am). also, protein is consumed first before carbs or fat. the purpose of all this is to 1) not cause an insulin spike for fat cells to take in nutrients, 2) carb cutoff in hopes of being ketogenic when doing morning cardio, and 3) make sure protein is fully absorbed in meals. my question is, do i need to follow this type of diet anymore now that i am taking anabolic pump? also, do i have to take AP on an empty stomach or can i take it while eating protein, then eat carbs 15 minutes later?

Take it with the carb protein meals and follow your diet as is..AP is non hormonal. AP does not effect insulin levels. AP will actually lower insulin levels.
 
thanks for the reply, but what i mean is, can i be more lenient on my diet by mixing carbs and fats since AP shuts down fat cell's affinity to store glucose?

Yes....I personally like 60gram from oats, 45g from whey concentrate and 3 grams fishoil 2 hours as preworkout meal.

Why concentrate and not isolate?

I'm also using DC (two way split) and I haven't had too many problems with my diet. My carbs are usually eaten in the mornings for the most part. Just my dinner has some carbs (it's still a few hours away from my bed time though.

Can't answer for the boss but many prefer concentrate for the simple cost/effectiveness ratio. How much better can isolate really be? Seems that your body would prefer the most stable release of amino's vs the fastest anyway. I like blends of whey, cassein and egg albumin the best. IMO
 
I just get stomach pains and horrendous gas from concentrate, i also like that i get 27g's of protein per scoop with my isolate.
 
Concerning workout days, do I take AP,
PREWORKOUT
- simultaneously with my pre and postworkout drink (Clout,Waxy Maize Starch)?
- ingest AP 15-20 minutes before I have my preworkout drink?

POSTWORKOUT
- postwork, 15-20 minutes before the end of my workout and postworkout drink (ex.SizeOn, Waxy Maize Starch)?
- do I use the AP to create an addtional "anabolic window" when ingested 15-20 minutes prior to my (solid food)postworkout meal.
- or 15-20 prior to my postworkout protein shake.

Yup that looks good, you should have some painful pumps from that.

Thank you for the response. But my question still remains unanswered. I apologize if my question was confusing.
Which of the two options PREWORKOUT would be best. Before my PreWO drink (CEE, NO,etc.) or along with it (same time)?
And PostWO, 15-20 min before I drink my PostWO drink (CEE, BCAA's, etc.), at the same time or do I wait until 15-20 before I consume my first "solid food" meal after training? Thanks.
 
15 minutes before pre-workout meal and 15 minutes before post-workout shake, i'd take the 3rd serving with the next highest carb meal that you consume.

If you are using WMS with your preworkout drink dose AP 15 minutes before that. The pump and energy should be insane!

Excellent, that was the question I was looking for. Thank you very much. I am set preworkout. But what about postworkout?

Take the AP 15 minutes, before my post workout drink of CEE, WMS, BCAA's. Or 15 mins prior to my postworkout protein shake (ingested about 45 mins after the CEE, WMS and BCAA's)? Or 15 prior to my first "solid food" meal after my workout (eaten about 1-2 hours after my postWO protein shake).

what's the half-life on AP? is it dependent on amount of carbs consumed, a gradual tapering over time, or independent of both and just stops after X amount of time? for how long are fatty cells "blocked"?

Just starting my second day, first workout on AP tonight. Funny someone mentioned DOMS, as I had a really bad case for a few days (changed to a rest-pause workout last week) and AP alleviated some of the soreness on my first dosing. the weird effect i am getting is that I seem to be colder than before- I have always been a furnace, yet these last two days my feet, hands and forehead are cold and I get chills/goosebumps quite often. (I should note that I am also taking Dicana, DCP, StimX in the AM, C2 daytime, cAmp nighttime).

It's a gradual tapering over time, iin this case over 6 hours, it's effects are most potent within 15 minutes. So you've got 6 hours that fat storage is blocked.
