AP/DCP 2 weeks in

I figured since i've been on this stack for a few weeks I would share my experience so far.

I was out of the gym for roughly 4 months due to relocation and changing jobs and so forth. I started back 3 weeks ago, and started using this stack 1 week after that.

AP: Thus far I really havent seen the insane pumps, or the fullness that everyone seems to be talking about. and I've did a little self testing to see if with no carbs I would get that hypo feeling, and I did not. I really havent seen any of the stuff others are reporting on this ... but I am impressed ... why you ask?

In the past, especially after a long lay off from lifting, I would be beyond sore. Infact anytime I squat or deadlift it is dam near impossible to walk up and down stairs for the next 3-4 days, or just get around without looking like frankenstien. Since I started with this stack, I have had little to no soreness at all. That alone is worth the price of this supp to me.

The only side i've seen, and this is kind of wierd to me, is this. Post workout I drop one AP then take in 4 Scoops of Purple Wraath, and 35g wms (virtago). within about 10min I get this wierd itchy/tingly sensation through my whole body, almost like when your foot falls asleep. it subsides after a few minutes, and all is good, but I havent seen anyone else report something like this.

DCP: I've used melting point in the past and had very good results with it. I also know what its like to not be able to get off the couch dude to TTA cramps. I havent had any negative sides from DCP at all, but I havent been getting the warm feeling others have reported either.

Overall: Thus far all my wieghts have gone up, which is awesome but that could just be muscle memory kicking in. My gf says that I look like I'm leaning out, but that could just be from the initial bump in activity level. That being said my main goal right now is getting my strength back, so I've been eating like a beast. If I'm leaning out at all these two supps are doing what they need to.

oh and incase any of you wanted to know here is what i've been doing both routine and suppliment wise the last 2 weeks +.

Routine:
Bill Starr intermediate 5x5, single factor, 2.5% increase per week.

Supps:
AP
DCP
Cialabol
Purple Wraath
Pure Virtago
sesamin
Cissus
Citruline

Dosing:

breakfast - 1 AP, 2 DCP, 1 Sesamin
Lunch - Same
Pre wo - 3 scoops PW, 1 scoop virtago,2 Cialabol, 2g Citruline
Post wo - 4 Scoops PW, 1.5 scoops virtago, 1 AP, 2g citruline, 3g Cissus
Dinner - 1 AP, 2 DCP, 1 Sesamin

Diet: i've been eating whatever I feel like, I make sure that there is plenty of chicken/fish/beef/pork for protien, and that I get in good low GI carbs around the AP doses (except pre and post), and that I get enough green veggies.

Just in case anyone cares, and judging from the overwhelming amount of posts in this thread ... you do. I wanted to update this.

This side effect would be from the beta-alanine in the Purple Wraath. I wasnt aware of the "beta itch" untill very recently.

I felt the same kind of thing when using Man Body Octane awhile back. It does subside somewhat after your body adjusts to beta alanine. I noticed it the worst in my scalp, almost a feeling like there was something crawling beneath the skin.

I would consider changing one dose of DCP to preworkout, to take advantage of increased endurance.

Are you going to post pictures?

hahah pictures, trust me you dont want to see that. I'm hairy and fat at this point. Perhaps after a few bottles of AP/DCP, and going to town with the clipers. Good look on the pre/wo dose, I'll give it a go.

yeah max, its a very odd feeling, it was even crazier the other night when I chugged down my PW and hit the shower, when that beta itch kicked in it really freaked me out, itchy plus hot shower is a bad combo. Atleast I know its working.

Oh and on the AP front, I still am not seeing any signs of increased pumps from it. I do have some pump feeling, but with the amount of Citrulline I'm using I should be feeling more. My strength continues to climb, which is my main focus right now, so I really couldnt be happier.

Do you use any of your Purple Wraath pre/during workout? I believe it was designed specifically with those periods of time in mind. If you take it all post-workout, try splitting your dosage up and sip on it starting about 15 minutes pre-workout, throughout your workout, and finish the remainder at the end of the workout.

yeah max its split up, my Pre shake I chug down about half, then sip on the rest through the workout.

Just a quick update on this. I am basicly in the same state as last time I posted. My strength continues to increase gradually, I have seen no increase in pump, no leaning out, and I gotta say I'm a little disapointed at that.

I guess I'm just a non responder, which sucks, but what can ya do. I have a bout 1/4 of a bottle left, so I dont think it needs anymore time to "kick in". what do you guys think?

Judging from your description of yourself. You are probably slightly insulin resistant. In the case of insulin resistant users the "pump" and leaning out is the last thing that will occur, but what is occuring is that your cells are geting sensitized which is not an OVERNIGHT process.

MANY many people and I'm talking generaly will miss out on the bueaty of AP because of the quick result syndrome that user come to demand out of every product.

You may very well be right, although I dont know if I'm inclined to test the theory. The cost of this product may be a little to steep for me to keep using If I'm not seeing or feeling anything from it.

I know most people want instant results from a supp, but I think I'm a little more realistic. I wasnt expecting anything insane, but at around 4 weeks I would expect something more then what I've seen so far.

The ingredients have been tested in type 2 diabetics and the clinical trials where 6 months long with a 90% success rate interms of improving symptoms.

If you are insulin resistant do not expect any supplement or drug for that particular purpose to work under 30 days (pump effect and weight loss) ever. With that being said, you may be a non-responder so you could possibly risk a few hundred dollars. With that being said, you may not be insulin resistant.

With all due respect, I am generalizing in response to your statements.

A lot of the hypo sides and pumps from AP have become a lot less noticable over time. Still seems to be working though.

I actually really like the sensation from beta alanine/histidine. When I rub my scalp during the tingle, it's like the best feeling massage ever. I've dosed it just before a full body massage and it was like buttah!

Agree...1000%

Of course, there is always a chance it could go either way. I may pick up another bottle (if I can find one), but i'll have to see how much over time is in my next paycheck.

Bioman, really, you like that feeling? to me it feels like when your foot falls asleep, and you get pins and needles ... but every where. Its not unbearable, but it is uncomfortable for a while.

Are you taking anything else? I saw a little leaning out, some fullness and no carb bloat, while on MFX/HD/DCP/AP. As soon as I stopped and started Powerfull, I lost 6lbs in 10 days but strength keeps going up while on the same routine. I remember reading a post/comment by Ziricote in an Epistane thread that an AI might hinder APs ability to trigger GLUT4, but Dr. D said Epi would not interfere and most likely enhance GLUT4 activation.

I have stabilized at this weight for about a week, I am going to try spreading the DCP and AP at different times to see if it makes a difference.

Yep, I dig the beta alanine tingle..feels good to me like my muscles are being detoxed or something.
