Anyone try CBD for pain?

I have insomnia and cbd don't really touch my personal scenario but cbd is OK for me but a lil thc seems to dig deeper n 2 my scenario help. I would use cbd again but for the friggin price I can't go back until I can have some thc in it. Oh im poor by the way so u can c where cbd @ about $90 a month is a lick for me.

I don’t pay anywhere close to that. There re several places you can get gummies for $5 -10 for a week supply at 30mg each.

Says the law. You cannot make CBD isolate from marijuana (female) and sell it to non legal states. It has to be derived from hemp.

How would the law know endless you told the law it came from cannabis and not hemp ?

I'm not going to get into it if you don't understand already. If a company wants to skirt the Feds by using a much more profitable plant and turning it into 99.9% CBD but passing it off as hemp, then they deserve what they get. The regulations and licensing surrounding any grow and manufacturing are very thorough and not something you want to mess with.

As you are involved in the other crypto thread, this is in part why blockchain and smart contracts are going to be so important in the cannabis industry.

Just to follow up on this thread. I tried the new version of cbd isolate and after a couple weeks im still waiting for back pain to go away. But when taking full spectrum i could notice pain diminishing after 4 days. Although i think the isolate has helped with sleep. Idk, just got a stronger dose of isolate im a try to give it a fair shot.

I just found a new place to get it, if you need the link.

I still need to give some CBD a try for anxiety and stress. What's the cheapest option? I am especially interested in only 1-5 doses to start since it is expensive and want to make sure it works before buying a good quantity.

I have seen a few people post about CBD joints that I thought was interesting. I'm not too interested in a vape to be honest.

Will you send it to me?

If you don’t want to vape or smoke, a sublingual tincture is the way to go. A couple drops under your tongue and that’s it.
There’s basically two options - CBD Isolate or Full Spectrum. Isolate is just the CBD and is often clear. FS has CBD and hemp oil. Some people only need CBD, others need the FS to see benefits. Personally, I find that full spectrum is more effective at reducing stress and anxiety. I use Isolate everyday, and FS when really needed.

For back pain or any muscle pain, a topical slave works great. I apply that to aching muscles at night and just drift off to sleep. It’s really worth trying a salve.

I have no issue with vaping, I just feel I would go through it much more quickly that way. I tend to like to smoke on something continuously once I start. Lol I will look into the different types some more.

Ticture is the best. You loose 25-35% vaping. The link I sent puts it cheap enough to get a good amount

Hey so I’ve noticed that Artemis Dolgin adds CBD to his own brand products. What would the benefits be?

Depends on the type of product. On a post it aids in recovery.

It reduces DOMS and inflammation. It’s not going to increase muscle growth.
I'd agree with this. Never promoted my product as for muscle growth. It has aided in recovery from injuries which lead to better workouts. But not a direct supp for muscle growth.

Does it just reduce DOMS (and inflammation?) or should it lead to increased muscle growth?

It will not aid in muscle growth. It is more relaxation and reduction of muscle soreness.

Lowers cortisol .
Cbd with thc and terpenes create the Entourage effect . Also Good to know and is important term to describe the relationship between terpenes and cannabinoids, the key components of marijuana.
Most people have heard about cannabinoids such as THC and CBD but have not heard about terpenes, the compounds that create the smell and specific effects of each strain. The “entourage effect” describes the synergies between terpenes and cannabinoids and how they work together to make cannabis’ effects so effective and diverse.

Both cannabinoids and terpenes affect receptors in the endocannabinoid system which, is what give the “high” users experience when they use it. Not only do different combinations of terpenes make up the aroma of the cannabis plant but they also impact the effect the strain has. For example, if you have 2 different types of cannabis but both have 15% THC, but one gives you energetic effects and one gives you sedative effects, this is largely due to the different terpene profiles. Terpenes such as Myrcene, Nerolidol, and Terpinolene, have sedative qualities and Alpha Pinene can be energizing. Cannabinoids and terpenes each have effects independently but together, they can serve many functions.

your plasma concentrations of THC increase when you're using CBD, resulting in a greater amount of THC available to receptors and increasing the effect of THC in a dose-dependent manner (which means when you have CBD with THC at a low dose, the more THC becomes available)

Really? I’d like t see more on this. It was my understanding that CBD reduced the effects of THC. There’s a school of thought that if someone ingests too much THC and gets anxious or paranoid, ingesting CBD will relieve those symptoms. It also seems like THC dominant products are geared toward the recreational crowd, where CBD and 1:1 ratio products are geared towards the medicinal users.

I overlooked that. I have always been told and to a degree found CBD will overpower THC...no idea really but if they bond on the same receptor and it has a higher bonding strength it would explain why free THC rises.

Interesting

At high dose of cbd it can but at a lower dose it does something completely different.

Don’t forget terpenes too. That’s what determines a Indica or sativa . The terpenes are what dictates the Effects. Damn it would have been good to have met you 2 years ago...looks like you're put some good research into it.
Shame you can't send your products to Australia, I would have loved to have tried them.

I have hempworx 750 and two ml sublingually definately has an anesthetic effect, coming from someone who has used prescribed opiates for lumbar back issues CBD works better than Tylenol or advil. I prefer thc included in a one to one ratio.

For those of us that live where that is not legal. We envy you.
