Anyone do anything over the top for Valentines Day?

Apparently flowers, candy a card and dinner isn't good enough these days. Have to be more creative I guess. Looking for suggestions for next year. ha
 
since my wife works nights we just exchange cards/gifts....i gave her a citizen eco-drive watch set and recieved a bulova mariner series watch and supps...

Here's something creative; if she doesn't appreciate those small favors do nothing next year. If her expectations are beyond that, then that would be her problem. It's give and take, it's not always up to the man.
 
my wife and i dont feed into the "hallmark" holiday...the only reason we exchange gifts is because my bday is 2-17 and we skip gifts at christmas...
 
I really went over-board this year! Wife, daughter and I went to my folks' house for pizza. Spent over $20 this year! She better not expect this kind of extravagance next year!

Here's a better idea, don't buy into the BS of Valentines Day to begin with.


Just curious did op get anything from her on V-day?
 
My wife and I never do anything, but this year we didn't buy each other xmas gifts (horrible idea), so we did vday instead.

I got her an iPad and she got me a Beretta M9.

We do both agree however that vday is a bunch of baloney and just a way for companies to make money.

Vday is my daughters birthday, so it works out that neither my wife nor I expect anything on valentines. We exchange cards and thats it
 
I bought my daughter a 3' tall plush rose. My dog got 2 double cheeseburgers. My wife got... same thing I got... hugs and a positive attitude. :) We don't really buy into the holiday, either. Love isn't something ya do on an occasion. When ya have it, ya have it all the time.
 
Got by daughter a beanie baby monkey for her first v-day :) other cards I picked up an obsurd amount of great mexican on the way home. even my daughter had some rice and loved it if you can believe that:)

Fair trade :) random ? though is the m9 just the mil version of the 92f?
 
I got my bird slippers and a dildo. So if she dont like the slippers she can use the dildo to go f**k her self. ;-) na joking candle light dinna and a rose petal bath

There's a few differences:
The M9 does not have a radiused backstrap but has a straight dustcover.
The 92 has a radiused backstrip and an angled dustcover.
The rear sight on the 92 has two dots, whereas the M9 has a half moon

All M9's are made in the USA and all seriel #'s begin with M9-****
92's are made both in USA and Italy, I believe the new Italian 92's come with a steel guide rod and steel trigger...the USA 92's and M9's have a polymer trigger and polymer guide rod.

All in all there very subtle differences that don't equate to a whole lot...

The only difference between this M9 and the one I carried overseas is the military version had a steel guiderod and 17rd mag...mine has a 15 rounder, but I can get a 17 and 20 which will both fit.

It's mildly random...mostly because we didn't get each other xmas gifts...she's been wanting an iPad and I've wanted a Beretta ever since I went overseas...her boss is a class III dealer so we got it at cost.​
 
Wife is not into valentines day....makes my life easy. I still get her flowers, but it's just another day.

haha nice i bet your dog was lovin it lol. ya i did the original "cars,flowers and candy" but my excuse is that im deployed :P

Thanks man! I've been wanting one ever since I went overseas in 2005....going to the range in about an hour...can't wait!

got my girlfriend creatine and protein. she loved it. only if she knew, I was hoping she wouldn't use it and end up giving it back to me...
