Eh, they bash any new product they didn't make, I wouldn't waste a drop of piss on that forum..

Thanks for the pack, by the way! :)

Done. They screen all posts so I don't know when it will show up. LOL, I've only made 10 posts there since I signed up in 2005.

i, like most guys on here probably, at one time thought t-mag was THE ****. honestly i thought waterbury was like some sort of charlie francis or something.

then i realized that us losers have more websites devoted to 'the pump' and less the stupid pump as t-mag seems anymore.
but ill give them props, in the past 2 months they've been not pimping their own **** as much (although this would be contrary to that.)

We have to lead them from the darkside!

It just isn't worth posting there anymore - it's like having "Big Brother" take editorial license on your posts. They've relaxed things recently, but many posts that take them (or their products) to task never see the light of day.

I'm appalled by Dave Barrs' comment:

There aren't a lot of data on it, but it has potential for diabetics. I'd rather use lipoic acid, but of course novelty helps move product.

The end of that last sentence pretty much sums up their MO and Dave is a staunch supporter of their methods.

How about the sentence before that
"stimulate insulin receptors and mess with fat cells."

He is just speaking from his thoughts (the thoughts biotest have him speak)not mind.

Nothing against David, but someone explained the difference between ALA and ap, and then a couple posts down he says no difference between the 2.

Yeah, apparently "Bodybuilding's Think-Tank" doesn't have much of an open mind!

Biotest products are overpriced. All that site does is pimp their products. And they have to put a Spike ad in every article they have.

Been there for years. I'm not anywhere much lately but if I always promote good products no matter who makes em or how much I like their creators. I've repped USP on that board before, if it means that much I'll do it again.

Just a thought, smart people can see through bs and stupid people can't. There's plenty of guys on that board who know better and use USP products. Then there's always the sheep.

I'm in a hurry to get Anabolic Pump before i get back from my winter break to Egypt, where as a vegitarian i have to eat tons of carbs. The only way to get it is through my sister ordering it online (maybe through bodybuilding.com) and sending it with her friend who's coming to egypt sometime in february.

so will it be stopped by canadian customs? are there any customs charges?

please i need a quick answer.

also, here's something i asked on the t-nation thread about AP but the thread mysteriously dissapeared way way back in the supplement forum as if the mods are purposely keeping it away from people's eyes. anyone have an answer? :

"the instructions say to take before breakfast, pre-workout meal, and post-workout meal on training days. and before breakfast, lunch, dinner on non-training days.

now if i have a pre and post workout shake there's no need for it, cause the body is already in the same state this supplement is supposed to create, and all carbs and protein are pretty much getting shoved into the muscle.

also as i understand from user feedback, you should take this before eating complex carbs, but it might not work or might make you feel bad if you take it before simple carbs. since pre and post workout shakes are made of simple carbs, if i get this supplement im just gonna skip taking it in these two meals.

now i have a question: isnt there a limit to how much glyocogen can be stored in the muscle? i mean, should we really be taking this with every meal?

can i just take this supplement before breakfast, lunch, and dinner on non-training days? (4 days a week), and just dont take it at all during training days? this would also make up for its high price."

thank you so much,

Zangi

I'm not sure what you mean by "now if i have a pre and post workout shake there's no need for it, cause the body is already in the same state this supplement is supposed to create, and all carbs and protein are pretty much getting shoved into the muscle.
Yes, exercise stimulates glut4 but that is not to say that exercise+pre/post-workout shake=The degree of nutrient shuttling to muscle caused by Anabolic-Pump supplementation.

The the low/high GI issue is this - Don't take purely high GI carbs with Anabolic-Pump, you'll be better off with either only low GI carbs or a mix of low and high GI.

We do not advise you take this with every meal that contains carbohydrates, please look at the dosing instructions which you yourself have quoted. At the most I'd advise 4 caps/day and that's only for larger (lbm) guys.

Refer to the label's dosing instruction...not taking it on workout days would be a huge waste.

I agree with the Zir-Dawg.

You are right, for Pre and Post-WO nutrition you are activating the same GLUT4 translocation process with one dubious distinction, w/o AP it is Insulin-Dependent. This means that while Insulin will drive glycogen into striated muscle, it will also allow the same process in adipocytes. By adding AP you are not only making muscle cells supra-permeable to glycogen, by translocating more GLUT4 to the cell membrane (basically making your cells more anabolic at that point), you are denying that same process in adipocytes when it matters most. Honestly, if one wanted to save money on this product I would suggest only dosing during Pre/Post WO meals.

well if i take pre and post workout shakes that are purely high GI carbs., what do i do?

how about three times on non-training days (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and twice on training days (breakfast, dinner)?

i mean i workout in the evening, and then i have my postworkout shake (which im not convinced i should take AP with for the two reasons mentioned above), but then i need something to make sure my dinner is still being shuttled off to the muscles.
