A good dose of agmatine like 1.5g always helps me
I take that too, but rarely close to bed time. Never noticed it to help.

Do we think that tianeptine will go the way of the racetams and be regarded and used as a 'supplement', while still being very much a drug?
From my point if view I have no problems using racetams and other goodies that have been long considered as low risk nootropics, but I have some misgivings in taking the plunge and effectively self-medicating an antidepressant, despite the very positive reviews.
I'm waffling on and probably overthinking it, but has anyone had similar thoughts on the subject?
I've had similar thoughts. It could probably help me, but I'm still on the fence.
Has anyone noticed depersonalization or libido loss from tianeptine?
Over the years of all the antidepressants I've tried, those were the common side effects I experienced every time.

Gotcha.I've never tried it, but supposedly its effects on serotonin are in some ways the opposite those of to SSRI's, in that it increases serotonin reuptake instead of inhibiting it.
That right there is my apprehension. Unless I'm misunderstanding, I feel like my emotions are vital for raising children. I don't need help being a "cold" person lol.No libido loss at all, but could be a slight sense of depersonalization as you seem to remove emotion from thoughts and approach from pure logic, which is what produces the anxiolytic effects, imo.
I have purchased two bottles of it, but still yet to take the plunge lol

When I discovered tianeptine, it was almost as if I was given a NEW MIND
I have two little kids and I completely understand that view, but the emotional effect is directed in situations in which anyone that has even the slightest anxiety can attest to, it is the irrational thought and feeling of people judging and the anticipation for an event. Without the care or concern about that, it is peaceful and calm. It doesn't make you into a robot, just more logical. Which could actually be a good thing for some parents. Lol
Well, if that's the case, that's something I definitely struggle with at work. I'm going to research this more. Especially after my panic attack last night involving chest pain and a trip to urgent care (not a heart attack, but the chest pain is definitely real), obviously what I'm doing now isn't working.
Glad your alright! Your physical & mental health is very important. Hope you or they can figure out the cause. Good luck with it.
Hockeyaus33 I meant to ask for your experience when you wrote this. How did it change your mind?

Sadly i had to stop everything i was taking.. Mainly ArA and Teaneptine. I was taking ArA for a month and Teaneptine for 2 or 3 days (i think really low dosages because i haven´t the scale yet).
I wasn´t feel very well while only taking ArA (lethargy, weakeness, sleeping bad, low appetite and some old injuries and inflamations were showing up) but Saturday, minutes after i took Teaneptine i felt an warming sensation on all body and then bamm.. a panic attack.. a strong one.. damn.. crazy nausea, sweating like hell, etc. I had to take a small Alprazolam dosage (like 0.25mg) and things calm down.
In the afternoon i went to the beach and don´t know if was the sunbath i took but later when i arrived home i started to feel a strong nausea that lasted two days. Today i´m better but not 100% yet.
I really don´t know if there was any of the supps causing that or not, but for now i´ll stop with everything and see how things go. Later if i´ll be better, i start to take Teaneptine alone to see the results.
Do you mind if I ask where you got your tianeptine (you can pm me if you like)? That sounds very similar to my experience using the bulk powder at very low doses for just a couple days...resulting in more than three days of migraines (headache, nausea, dizziness, blurred vision, etc.).
Once again, GABA. Go with the powder it hits quick and you have a shortness of breath for about 30 seconds, then the tingling sets in, then the relaxation takes over. Start with about half a gram till u get used to it, the first time I took it it scared me for a second, now I take a gram before bed and no more restless legs, no tossing, very rarely get up in the night and wake up refreshed in 6 hrs of sleep. Nuts to not try 6oz=$9-11 NOW FOODS, Dymatize. That's all I got to say.
I've gotta try pre-bed gaba again. Restless legs and bad insomnia last night. Gaba + mod-GRF/Ipamorelin should be niiiice
Do not use anything labelled CJC. MOD-GRF is the one you want to use with a GHRP. CJC's are outdated and most of the time mislabeled.
If so it's mislabeled. Be careful who you buy from.

Restless legs? add in some magnesium. 400mg
I am thinking about ordering some bulk powders to see if it will help me sleep. Any suggestions? I was thinking L theanine, Phenibut, a small amount of Tianeptine to maybe try out. Also what do you guys think of Powder City?

Ashwagandha, bacopa, alpha GPC, and aniracetam. I always add rhodiola as well for physical stress management, but wouldn't be necessary for anxiety.
Ashawagandha and bacopa are going to be great for general anxiety because for me, it calms the mind and just evens things out so something minor doesn't build in my head. It just eases the mind.
Alpha GPC and ani are great for social anxiety and speech. It completely removes the fight or flight feel and helps the fluidity of speech. I don't have any social anxiety, but I deal with executive level people daily and am required to give speeches and presentations to large rooms of people, so it is important to feel calm and speak well. This is a very effective combination for this.
The thing that is nice about these all together is that they keep you calm, yet alert. The last thing I want is to feel dull or slow.

Have y'all noticed effects from tianeptine with the first dose? Or did it take a bit to kick in?
I was thinking of trying this same stack out for general relaxation and anti anxiety and to help keep my mind clear. What dosing regimen would you recommend? I'm still just starting to learn about all of this stuff. Any reason you use aniracetam instead of piracetam? I've read that's the best one to try out first.
Also what do you think about needing a Choline source or is that just based on the individual? I'm still reading through the beginnings of this thread so sorry if any of this has already been answered. You don't have to repeat it, I can just find it in here.
Bump for this question. I'm 3 days in at taking 12mg every 4 to 6 hours. Not sure if I feel anything yet (which probably means I don't).
I noticed it after the 3rd day and it wasn't something I felt, but more just recognized in a few situations that I would have got a little uptight and I was noticeably nonchalant about them. I wasn't feeling mellow or anything, they simply didn't bother me. This built up and now I am riding it very well. There has never been a "feeling", but in general, I don't feel concerned about high stress situations when I know they are coming up or while in them. That has translated into what I think might be better memory in stressful situations because when you aren't preoccupied, you can think more clearly. I wouldn't say it has improved memory, but just cleared up my mind more. I stopped Ani, ashwagandha, and bacopa while trying this and I feel like adding in Ani would be a perfect stack because of how well it helps speech and recall. I will be doing this soon, but wanted to give this a solid 4-6 week run to rule out other variables.
Plus, I have been only taking it M-F and cycle the weekends without any noticeable issue or side effects. So far, I would say this has been a successful addition.
