I know it wasn't really a part of why you logged, but any impressions you could add about your AD experience to the final review would be awesome.

Thanks V. I will get some measurements upon waking tomorrow. I don't think I will weigh in though until week 3 of the A.D. I am glad I could help motivate you and so forth. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me.

From my standpoint, I was able to actually gain some strength and some LBM while minimizing fat. As for bringing up my lagging body parts, I think I have done that... but I am by no means finished.

The Workout: Weekend/R&R
-Got a lot of rest in this weekend... slept in for the most part...
-Continued on the A.D... I went out of town so I packed 14 high fat/protein meals for the road...I discovered the initial starting phase of AD is 12 days of no carbs :eek: Today makes it day 8... so close
-By eating on the AD... I got a million questions asked by my future in laws while we went out to eat... I guess eating a big ass burger w/ bacon and leaving your fries and bread untouched makes people wonder :o

Impressions:
-The weekend was good... however, I have started to come down with some sinus/allergy/cold issues... I know that you are supposed to feel like ass and be semi sick during the AD start up phase so maybe that is what I am going through... regardless, it sucks
-I have been getting some headaches but again I credit this to the AD along with some irritability
-Went and saw Saw V and went to another haunted trail... not too shabby of a weekend. Also did wedding planning :eek:

Measurements:
-This morning I measured myself to see where I was with regards to the last time I measured... which was around Sep 7th, 2008. Since these measurements, I have done pretty much the same routine and changed up my diet as the only factor. I have noticed I am a lot leaner and more vascular than before since beginning the AD. In fact, my waist size has gone down :D I am happy these measurements have stayed the same or relatively close due to losing a lot of my bloat feeling from the bulk. Yes I was clean bulking, but after feeling like it was headed south, I decided to begin the AD and keep things in check. I feel tighter than I have since I last cut. Again I credit that to losing the water/bloat from not eating carbs these past 8 days due to the AD start up. All measurements are dry and first thing upon waking.

Before / After (Change)

Waist: 35.6 / 35 (-0.6)
Chest: 46.5 / 46.5 (No Change)
Arms: 17 / 16.9 (Like literally almost right at 17)
Shoulders: 55.6 / 55.6 (No Change)
Thighs: 25.75 / 25.5 (-0.25... I don't think it was this much lost as I got one measurement that was a tad close to 25.75...I think it was human error :p )
Calves: 17 / 16.8 (-0.2...almost the exact same as my arms)
Neck: 16.2 / 16 (-0.2... no fat neck for me haha)

Again these measurements are dry and first thing in the morning after 8 days of being on the AD. I am happy that my gains weren't all water bloat, etc. As I felt tighter/leaner today and am happy with my gains staying with me from the Test/Stak combo as well.

The Workout: Chest/Abs
-Flat Bench: 2 warm ups; 1x5 (285); 1x5 (295); 1x5 (295);1x3 (305) RESTPAUSE 1x1 (305) RESTPAUSE 1x1 (305); 1x1 (315) 1x1 (315) 1x1 (315) 1x1 (315) 1x1 (315) ... Some of these reps had additional forced reps where the bar was tapped, sneezed or farted upon for me to get the rest of the rep. I did not count these b/c if someone touches the bar, the rep doesn't count. I also did a lot of rest pauses to get my body accustomed to more reps with heavier weight. This was the first time I have done flat bench in over a month

-Incline BB: 3x10 (205) Last set I dropped it down to 185 and did as many as I could till failure... which wasn't that many

-DB Flat Flies: 3x10 (35; 40; 45) Heaviest I have gone on flies in a long time.. got a good stretch and felt amazing.

-Cable Crossovers: 5x10 (I was not a fan of these today...I have been experimenting with foot placement, movement of arms, and where I stand to get my chest from different angles... it was average today on this movement...will go back to the drawing board on these)

-Decline Situps: 4x15

Impressions:
-Not as strong as I wanted to be in there this morning but pretty good considering I had no idea what I used on FB... it had been that long since I had done them... I sat there for like 12 min before figuring something out hahaha
-My chest felt tight after the first set of bench and I was ready to roll...
-Time to get serious... TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY!
 
*Due to being a rep for Universal/Animal I know my feedback will be viewed as biased. Regardless, I am throwing out short final reviews of all the products I used to hopefully assist others.*

Animal Pak: Taken daily; I know it sounds weird as this is just a "multi vitamin" but I can tell when I am taking Animal Pak and when I am not. I missed one day due to me forgetting to pack an extra pak when I was on a weekend trip. That day I just didn't feel like I was all there...I mean I was fine and all that...but I just felt like I was missing something. Taking pak, I really felt covered in all my areas that may be missing while on this diet. I especially noticed a difference when I switched over to the Anabolic diet as I feel Pak helped me fill in the gaps due to this diet. My immune system was also increased as I am typically always getting sick during the last half of the year...only thing I got was a slight cold/congestion but I believe that is more in part to swapping over to the anabolic diet and the metabolism switch.

Universal Uni-Liver: 12 daily; 4 capsules for 3 meals spread out over my daily diet. Yes I really took this many Uni Livers and one of the things I noticed from doing so was the increased recovery. I felt like I could have gone two a days a lot of times just because I wasn't sore from the early morning workouts. Plus I really don't think you can beat the price of this product for all it contains.

Animal Nitro: 1 Pack 30-45 minutes pre workout; 1 pack immediately post workout; Off days 1 pack upon waking and 1 pack before bed. Nitro is a product I never tried until now. In fact I am kicking myself for not getting some sooner as it definitely increased my recovery ten fold. By throwing in all the extra aminos I really felt like I was just an anabolic machine. I felt comforted on off days as well by taking the packs upon waking and going to bed to prevent any chance of muscle breakdown.

Animal Test: 1 pack with last meal prior to working out. I cannot preach how much I love this stuff. Really it does the trick for me...my strength goes up...my LBM goes up...my BF goes down. It's insane...this is the first test booster that I have really felt deliver solid results. I ran 2 cans of this stuff and absolutely loved it. I increased my strength and put on around 4 lbs with the addition of Stak as well.

Animal Stak: 30-45 min pre workout. Stak is another test booster that in conjunction with Test was just an insane rush of "alpha"ness. I just felt like I could walk through walls on some days. Just the drive and feeling of untouchable in the gym was worth it. As stated, I put on around 4 lbs and increased my strength on the core lifts.

Universal Torrent: 30 minutes after post workout Nitro serving. Torrent is just amazing... I love the taste. Scratch that, I am addicted to the taste and really found it to be effective. I was first turned on to Torrent through my previous training partner (Brocton) and through the House at the Arnold. Listening to those guys I decided what the hell and gave it a try. I have been addicted ever since. I feel fully recovered after drinking Torrent post workout and fill like it does a hell of a job replenishing my body.

Universal Real Gains: Taken to help add extra cals/carbs/protein into lean clean bulking diet. I had 2 tubs of both Banana and Strawberry. Banana was gone very quickly as it is very good and with milk is just amazing... reminded me of banana pudding. With the strawberry, it has pieces of real strawberries in it and is even better than the banana. Strawberry is definitely my favorite flavor and is incredible to taste. The only problem I experienced with Real Gains is that I wasn't able to get some of the shakes fully mixed up and some clumping occurred here and there. But to be fair, some of my shakers were reused from the shake before...I know you say nasty I say law student with no time to clean :o Regardless, these shakes helped me get in some much needed cals during my clean lean bulk.

Animal M-Stak: Taken during the last week of Test/Stak combo. I ran 2 cans of M Stak and even started it during my last week of the Test/Stak combo. I enjoyed M Stak and felt like it helped me maintain the gains I had on Test/Stak. I did experience an appetite increase and enjoyed the higher grocery bill that came with it. However, I did swap over to the Anabolic Diet during the 2nd can and was able to consume a lot more protein/fats than before. Regardless, I maintained and my strength remained.

Universal Natural Sterol Complex: 6 capsules daily starting after the first week of Test/Stak. I upped the dosage and really just played around with these bad boys. I did the "G Diesel" method and just took a ton of 'em. They didn't last long but I did notice I was becoming "solid" and "hard" as my muscles just felt constantly pumped.

Intra Aid: I was really impressed with this product as it is not only delicious but I felt like it helped me really push through some of the intense training sessions, especially at the rear end of them. I felt like I was able to just finish the sets and even up the intensity in a lot of sessions. Really loved this product and will be adding it as a must for me from now on.

Animal Pump: Hands down my favorite pre workout supplement. Nothing beats this cool calm focus that I get in the gym and the pump that accompanies it. I have found myself get tolerant of a lot of pre workout products in the past and only have a handful (3-4) that I would ever recommend to anyone. Animal Pump is definitely one of those handful.

I also used BCAA stack and EAA stack. These products both aided my recovery and helped add good flavor to my water. The grape BCAA is good but nothing beats the EAA watermelon flavor. I even added these into my IA a few days and really enjoyed it.

Hope these reviews help a few of y'all out there.
