I started androgel last night at 2 pumps. Anyone know how long until I notice a benefit?
You will soon see that you definitely need to up that dose.

I know, but with a current test level of 180, surely 2 pumps will feel better than I do now, right?
Yes, because you will have your 180 plus what the 2 pumps puts in you. So, you probably will be looking at 180 + about 300 = 480 of total test which is a big jump from 180. You should start noticing at least a boost in energy in the next few days. Then, after a month or so you will loose your endogenous test level of 180 so your numbers will drop some. Thats when you will need to up your pump dosage. Just make sure to get your bloodwork done regularly to monitor your numbers.
Is light sweating a concern if only after ten minutes of application?
No, I noticed a slight increase in sweat throughout the day when I started T gel.
My doctor is saying I should have follow up labwork 6-8 weeks after starting androgel; is that too long? Should it be sooner?
It can take even up to 3 months for levels to stabilize
6-8 weeks is standard

You were right. By the end of the first week, I noticed increased energy and less morning aches and pains (I'm 31 by the way). But every morning I used to hobble in pain (my feet especially) to the bathroom for my morning wizz and for about 2 or so weeks there, I felt great upon waking. As of yesterday, the aches and pains are back. My libido's dropped and I'm getting irritable again. I still have to wait two more weeks before getting blood drawn again though. Dammit.
Yup, your endogenous testosterone levels have now bottomed out. So, you will need to double up your T gel dose now. I would suggest not starting the Phlojel ultra until you have stabilized your T levels. Then when you incorporate it you can bring your T levels up an additional 200 or so points. Keep us updated bro. Btw I am only 31 as well.
Gotcha. I'll wait to start the phlogel. Have you noticed better gains or improved body composition since optimizing your test levels, by the way?
Yes, recomping ability has increased. I have always been fit, but I do feel it is a bit easier to see progress. Nothing drastic though so dont expect too much.
Yes, that was one of my issues. I had a general lack of motivation both physically and mentally and just felt sluggish a lot. I could fight through it, but it took a lot of will power and energy to not just want to skip the gym, go do other physical activities, or feel social. Then it would take awhile to recover. None of this just happened overnight, I was dealing with it for a couple years, but it was so gradual that I didn't realize it until I was on TRT and looked back on it. It seemed like I was just kind of "down" and I chased it with OTC supplements trying to get the vigor back.
Donate blood the week before a test! Drink plenty of water all the time especially 4 to 5 days before you have your next labs done
