Anavar and HCG?

Hello, I am 21, and currently 6’1” 175 lbs. I have been lifting consistently about a year now. I am very lean and have attached a physique photo for reference. I have done a 4 week cycle of igf-1 lr3 (40mcg daily), and two separate cycles of mk-677 recently (20 mg 5 days on 2 days off). I want a bit more of a boost and I am wondering how an anavar and hcg cycle would work. The reason I want to go with var is because I highly prioritize lean aesthetics and also want to avoid most of the big sides that come with something like exogenous test or primo. However, I’ve still heard that var can shut down natural test production and the last thing I want is shrunken balls or infertility. This just seems to be on paper a great beginner cycle that would have minimal long term negatives. But I don’t know much about the AAS world so I was hoping for some input from some of yall. Also I plan on getting bloodwork done before starting just to make sure I have no underlying issues. Thanks!

You really don’t want your first cycle to be oral even if it’s Anavar. Anavar can crash your lipids and it will start to shutdown natural testosterone production because of the anabolic feedback loop. I always recommend Testosterone only for a first cycle. But you are young and have only been lifting for a year, so you should hold off a little while and take advantage of your young testosterone levels and newbie gains. You have already done a fantastic job naturally, just stick to it because you still have a lot of natural gains left on the table. Look into some of the natural anabolics and muscle builders in the supplement section first.
And again great job on what you have done, keep up the good work.💪😎👍

@gphagan1 has the right idea. I'd go natty anabolics ( they're great ) , injectable L- carnitine, and maybe GH peptides before considering AAS.
Before that, optimize the basics for a few years while your hormones are primed to grow anyway. Hormonally at 20, You're basically on cycle. With only a year under your belt there is plenty of newbie gains, training and diet changes to be made to achieve what you want. Don't crash your test forever for a quicker approach short term. If you are lean, just pushing the clean carbs can really upgrade your look.

I'd also still get the bloodwork. Lot of good intel to be garnered from that whether you're hopping on or not.

Agree with above. I started using AAS when I was 21 after several years in the gym, but only something like 8 months of squats and deadlifting, proper full body. I grew more in the first 6 months of NATURAL serious eating and barbell work than the previous 2.5 years of aimless machines & benchpress with no programming or guidance. My biggest regret is not spending a couple more years REALLY learning about training and diet, because I could have kept going well naturally then.

I thought I knew enough, but you can’t know what you don’t know - and I PROMISE there’s more to learn that will continue to help you progress well naturally right now. I was blown away when I later met natural guys who had built so much more strength and muscle, just because they had gotten the knowledge and coaching that is the foundation of progress (with or without gear).

Focus on the GH-releasing peptides and injectable L-Carnitine for now. Most people don’t understand the GH peptides are actually most effective in younger bodies; by the time you are in your 30s it’s better to use GH directly, because the natural production isn’t very good and they only boost the system in place. But at 21, Mk677 works much better for you than me at age 36.

L-Carn isn’t a huge player but it does help physique development, pump & endurance , it’s purely good for your health, and will get you used to doing injections with a slinpin. Then if/when it’s time to do your first AAS cycle down the road, you can comfortably do it the right way with a bit of testosterone. Injecting won’t be scary or confusing.

This way you keep your health, your legality, the advantage of your youth for now, and get to save AAS for when you truly have everything more figured out in a couple years if you decide to make that choice. It can have serious longterm health consequences, so my advice is don’t play your ace as soon as you have gotten to the table - that’s not how you win. You need to play for the late game, where the stakes are high & rewards are much bigger.
