HCG subQ was absolutely painless. Didn't feel anything!!

Hitting the gym again today, at about 11am, upper body strength. Yeaaaaah.
 
Day 16:

Weighed in fasted at 169 this morning.

I managed to get a copy of The Poliquin Principles, so I've modified my workout a bit based on that.. Today went well, upper body strength:

421 tempo on all lifts
BB Bench - 5 sets of 3 @ 225, 225, 225, 215, 215
Chinups - 5 sets of 5 @ bw+45, 45, 35, 35, 25
Tricep/Lat Complex - 5 sets of 5 @ 55
Incline BB Bench - 4 sets of 5 @ 175
1Arm Row - 3 sets of 5 @ 70, 60, 60
Reverse Curls - major league hand pain led to me cutting workout short

Nothing fantastic yet, but I can feel good things coming. I powered through all this sh!t today. Plus, a 3-4 second negative on each exercise is hella demanding.. I might just be sore come tomorrow.
 
Day 17

Leg day. Kicked some ass. Got my body fat tested by DEXA, came up at 8.5%. Hell yes.

Leg day as follows, focus: Hypertrophy

before anyone has a chance to ask, the three numbers after each lift is the tempo.
  • Front Squat - 3 x 8 @ 185 | 401
  • 1-Leg Leg Press (cybex) - 3 x 8 @ 150 | 401
  • Good Mornings - 3 x 10 @ 135 | 401
  • Seated Hamstring Curls - 3 x 6 @ 60? | 401
  • Standing Calve Raises - 3 x 20 @ 60, 40, 40 | 221

Weighed in at 172 this morning, which equates to about +4lb thus far!! Body fat has decreased, obviously. MmmHmmm.. I like test. Oh, and my kick ass eating habits and such might have just a little to do with all this, haha.

Day 19: fuck me I felt soo weak today.

Apparently, I'm carb depleted, that's the most likely thing I can think of.. Either way, still hit those weights.

So, numbers weren't too impressive, but I got some good work in. Tonight is sushi night, yeeeeaaaah. Time to get them carbs up up up.
 
The last several workout days, I've been hit with some serious hypoglycemia about 1.5-2 hours after my pwo shake.. shat, it's got 60g carbs.. not enough or what?

I would try taking in more carbs 60 min after your pwo shake. Or just increase the amount of carbs in your pwo shake. Where do those 60gs come from? WMS, oats?
 
What type of oats do you use? I'm thinking I'll go with steel cut..

I just throw 1 cup of Quaker oats into the blender with a little milk and let the blender chop it up, then I start adding other things(more milk, whey, eggs, WMS).

I use Quaker oats because they are cheap as fukk.

Gotcha.. Well, I'll prob go with something like this:

oats (doesn't matter, just something natural) equivalent to 50g carbs
30g Dextrose
 
steel cut oats in the blender sucks man, they are the best choice for cooking oats imo but in the blender that stuff doesnt blend lol

Yeah it remains chunky regardless of how long you blend it, but it is still drinkable, which makes it easy to get down after a w/o(I have trouble eating right after)
 
not sure what kind of "knockoff" ur getting, but the magic bullet comes with 2 different blades......one for mixing etc and the other for grinding/chopping...like for oats, salsa, whatever need to be cut up

dang.. nice. Can't remember if mine has 2 blades or not.. I do know, however, that it has 300 watts of fury.

upon further inspection, it does indeed come with 2

what about a back pic? you are doing good however id be wanting to do a dirty eat all you see kind of bulk if i were your size, no offense, you are lean and strong but need more size.
 
Mmmk fellas. Cals are being upped, fo sho. I'll get back to you guys on how many.

Piston, I'll throw up a back pick sometime later today, maybe tomorrow.. and dude, I can't eat dirty!! I'll definitely up the cals, but no consistent dirty eating.

This was hard, no doubt.. still tweaking rep ranges a bit, prob going for 10 of 4 on bb bench and chinups next time, might go 6x4 on cg bench, might add in something extra for bis as well..
 
Wound up at about 3400 calories for today, macros are pretty much the same.

Was craving the healthy foods when I got off work.. dammit, so hungry, always.

Day 24

Going to go ahead and start Dymethazine today. Sadly, I haven't noticed too much from the 1-AD, possibly some lethargy, but that's about it. From what I know, it should be good for strength gains, and a leaning effects, both of which I have not experienced to a more than significant degree.. Yes, I haven't been eating too much up until about a week ago, however, the strength gains should most certainly have been there, along with the leaning effect. Can't be completely objective in this, though, for obvious reasons.

Now, on to Dymethazine.. 15mg at my next meal, should be good :)

I'll weigh in tomorrow morning and see where I'm sitting weight-wise, I'm guessing 174.
 
WTF, I was 172 this morning.. Still, that's an increase of 4-6 lean pounds since the start.. did I mention that my body fat is decreasing? Haha, oh yeah, my belly fat is melting away :D

Cannot wait to hit the ****ing gym today.
