^ That is Bob's jello, and this is a cool idea for a snack, and crazy low cal for dieters.

Watermelon AminoIV is my least fave in water but my fave in Jello for some reason

100% worth trying and if you want flavour variations you can add any MIO/crystal light to it

Glad you guys like my Amino Jello-O Recipe
Video is on my youtube!

it is quicker to put in the freezer for 1 hour and then you can have them stored in your kitchen for up to like 3-4 days and they are perfectly fine.

Did this with my AminoIV a couple months ago for the first time. It's a great snack and perfect for those days when you're dieting and need something sweet.

I didn't know you made this already (although I guess I should have known). I was up late last night studying and wanted a snack and was looking through my pantry and thought of it.

Question, how much water do you use? I put more then what the box suggested since it was more powder, but really wasn't sure. Also ever try a flavored jello mixed with a BCAA?

It's gotta be perfect for when cravings sweets. Watermelon AminoIV would be perfect.

It is. I actually used Cherry Limeade AminoIV with Cherry Flavoured Jello......it was epic.

I still haven't used straight up gelatin with aminos yet but I just picked up a box so I will be giving it a try soon. I have both watermelon and cherry limeade AIV on my shelf so there might be 2 batches being made.

On a related note......I wonder what Blondie Jello Pudding would taste like?

Thats awesome! im going to try it haha

Jello brand pudding? I've seen a lot of people making sludge with Yogurt, I'm sure it would be good with pudding as well.

Yeah Jellp Brand Pudding. I've combined Chocolate protein powder with chocolate Jello pudding and it was awesome. I'm thinking Blondie with caramel pudding would be drop dead amazing.

money made them with the sour batch man ISO-mini and he said they were great.

I think you're right. I'll have to check that out.

Quick, easy way would be to just buy the pre-made cups and combine.

I've done the same thing with PWO like epic or wyked . A great way to have anytime with no water.

Did you make like you would regular pudding
1. Stir mix into 3 cups milk with wire whisk in medium saucepan.
2. Stirring constantly, cook on Medium heat until mixture comes to full boil.
3. Pour into dessert dishes.

Or did you do it differently? Like used more milk or didn't heat the milk, etc?

Also, how much protein did you add? 2 scoops?

As an aside, this inspired an idea ima try out tonight. Will post details if it is successful

I followed the instructions on the pudding package but added a little extra liquid for the added protein powder.
I'm going to try this again soon and I'll post up my results and instructions.

I only added 1 scoop.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I just added a little extra liquid as well. Worked out great.

SUCCESS!!!

As I mentioned earlier in the thread the discussion here inspired something for me to try. I tried it out tonight and it turned out great!

Basically, in one bowl I mixed together some unflavored jello powder and 2 scoops of Select Snickerdoodle. Then I microwaved some almond mix and added it to the snickerdoodle/jello mix. Whisked together for a bit and then put in the fridge to harden.

The result isn't jello but it kind of has a jello consistency but not quite. All it needed was some carmels auce to drizzle on top

You really gonna ask me that question :)? 200 recipes later on youtube haha.

lol, damnit! It is impossible to make something you havent yet isn't it?

I tried to make something last night but it turned out too eggy. I mixed together egg whites, select protein, almond milk and baked. It was "okay" I guess but I wont be making it again

too much liquid not enough dry thats why. i know your on a very low calorie diet (PSMF) right now, but anything baked on that caloric amount wont come out tasting good due to your dietary needs and macros. not to mention trying to find a good dry/wet balance with a few things you could possibly use without flour or other rising agents.

it will be very hard to bake/make something that may curb a craving with minimal ingredients and carbs/fat to help replicate recipes

i do have the video of those gummies on my youtube i made it with Cinnamon protein powder before. and i made them with a BCAA product before. both come out good! The BB Amino IV would be bomb.

JudoJosh do you have a pic of your snickerdoodle jello?
Only used wheys in pudding, BCAAs or other fine powders in jello

If you are on a restrictive diet you might like microwave lava cakes
If you are aiming for portability as well its tougher, I really want to find some vita fibre

I snapped 2 quick pics with my phone of what was left. (Lucky I seen this post before I finished it)

By the way, what is the lava cake?

JudoJosh
That doesn't look bad, i really like SD in caramel pudding (sugar free)

Im not sure what macros you are working with, but you can even make lava cakes with just the protein and water (1scoop + 1/4 cup warm water mixed well, microwave 30 seconds) middle stays molten, this is pretty damn good with chocolate + a tbsp cocoa, for the macros.

Or I have some pretty lean microwave cake recipes, my spinach microwave cake from the contest is surprisingly good if you will risk trying it ;)

My chocolate cake is very lean as well considering its size,

Or the same mix baked into 6-8 muffins for portability (have not tried but i dont see an issue)

If you have Instagram u have most of my creations up there now (same username) and will share any recipe you would want.

The very low cal ones dont usually make my page though, except the ice-creams

Yea the protein + jello + milk was pretty tasty. Especially for being low carb and low fat!

I will look for the spinach cake and give it a try. I have been playing with pumpkin in the recipes. It helps mask the *eggy* taste of some of them and helps to improve the texture.

Right now I'm playing with these unflavored jello packets and see what else I can do with it. Ima try jello mix + protein powder + ff cream cheese next and see how that comes out

Let us know, that sounds like it might be creamier for sure

will be very dense. If you have some carbs to spare cheesecakes for sure man

8oz FF Cream Cheese
6oz Greek Yogurt (FF)
1-1.5 Scoop Whey
2 Eggs (whisk in at the end)
6=9 g Splenda
Dash Vanilla
Dash Salt
Dash almond milk (like 15-30g)

325 for 30 then 200 for 50 in a springform = $$$$

Just mixed some cottage cheese, select snickerdoolde, almond milk & gelatin mix together.

It is currently in the freezer to help the gelatin set faster. Think it is going to horrible or delicious?

Crap, I forgot you posted this. I will make it later tonight for dinner ;)

Question, think I can do egg whites instead of whole eggs?

Yeah, just add baking powder.

On top of jello, powders work great in mousse

Do not add baking powder to cheescakes.. NO NO NO that is a big no no. You always keep it out of cheesecakes. Go look online at cheesecake recipes none of them have baking powder included.

I would prefer whole eggs due to the texture and consistency when binding in a baking recipe (superior over egg whites). You could do the egg whites but it may crack a bit (this is due to the egg whites not as strong of a binding agent when baking and cooking) it will work but may not make the "best" product, but with your current calories and macros you could make due.

Never had a problem with the outcome of cheesecakes when using egg white and baking powder.

May have to try without baking powder and see what difference I notice.

Just do a google search and you will see you wont really need it because chemical leavener's are not used in cheesecakes. You want the cheesecake to bind and gel together. even with the BP added it may rise a bit more, but then it will deflate.

For that reason... Baking powder is actually baking soda with an acid (powdered form) and usually some sort of filler already mixed together. Baking powder can be labeled "Single Acting" or "Double Acting". Single acting baking powder, like baking soda and acidic liquid will begin to react as soon as liquid is added. Double acting baking powder has two reactions. The first occurs when the liquid is added to the recipe and the second reaction starts when the mixture is heated.
