AMINO IV changed its formula?

So I got my hands on some AMINO IV recently and I notice the formula has changed.

Can anyone give me feedback on why PEScience changed the formula? Why the need to do that? Its still a decent product but with the changes I can't say its the best anymore.

We made a number of changes to the product to make a more effective and better tasting product bases on customer feedback and the latest science. We removed taurine, lemon verbena, and the b vitamins, and instead we added our synerglute blend + betaine anhydrous. This was made as an improvement to the profile, while also improving the taste of the product and making it mix clear. We will be releasing lemon verbena in the future as a stand alone item.

We also decreased the price to reflect the changes. With this still being a BCAA + EAA mix it dwarfs pure BCAA products IMO.

Studies really brought pure BCAAs under fire, as without the other EAAs present we are seeing very limited use and almost no benefit outside a long fasted period.

They can be used as substrate during exercise, but then why not just have juice or a Gatorade. If it’s not providing ergogenic or myogenic benefit why spend your $ on it.

Now we have a more refined, pure amino product available at a better price and with improved taste

Those looking for the purported benefits (and marketing claims) of BCAAs should strongly consider trying AminoIV, or at least switch to a product offering more

Thank you for the feedback. Haven't used AMINO IV in a couple years so I was just wondering why the formula is different now. I see that it still has all the BCAA/EAA's in it so that is really all I cared about when I started using it to begin with. As long as you do not get rid of a good dose of those combined together in this product I Will continue to use it.
