Question:

Do you guys like the small logo on the front in the center, or like a traditional left chest logo?

Left Chest
make a big A and write Alpha through it in small letters
would be dope.
You could also try putting Alpha on top (A logo on left chest) Gear below it to break it up to the eye.

That's a great one. As an FYI, I'd opt for the wording at the bottom to be uniform in color since the "with" blends too much with the line below it (IMO).

Never said you had to change the A for the alpha logo, you could have lettering go through it, or blow it up on the back of a shirt.
Just a suggestion.

Oh you mean on the back?

Not really understanding your concept. So the letter A with the word alpha as the line across the A?

So all white/grey for bottom line?

alpA(logo)ha

kind of have the small letters run through it

or you could do
Alpha
A (logo)
Gear

as for the left pec setup

Interesting. Let me mess around with that a bit.

I'm getting that stronger than my excuses one. I love it.

What kind of material are the shirts?

Some are Dual-Blend Poly/Cotton and other are 100% ringspun cotton. Colors and more intricate patterns need to be on cotton. It really depends on what you like. I love the dual-blend and tri-blend shirts, but they tend to lose the design after a while. So you get a better feeling shirt, but less quality in terms of design.

Eh... i am more of a fan of quality >> Quantity. If i am going to invest in a shirt I won't want it to fade on me after a month or so...

The dual blends uses a special ink that will stay on but you are very limited in what you can do.

The cotton shirts are a 30/1 count. Most of your basic tee's are 18/1 count. The higher the number, the finer the weave, which means softer and better quality.

so cost of dual/tri blend would prob retail around what 30$ a shirt
and cotton 20$?

Cotton is always cheaper from a pure blank. But there are a lot of factors in the finished price comparing a screen printed poly shirt vs. a DTG cotton print.

Ok the choice is yours!

I can give one guy $100 give cert, or 5 guys $20 because there are about 5 guys I think deserve it just by their participation alone! What do you think?

Your the boss. its your decision. 20$ may not merit the cost of a shirt depending on the type of quality you guys use.

It doesn't have to be 5. It could be 3. I just thought some people would rather have me spread it around. I'll wait to hear from some more.

Hmm tough decision. Do you have a single winner picked out already, or one in mind?
Or would it be easier to pick 3 or 5 or whatever winners to split the $100 among?

Only thing that comes to mind for me is that multiple winners puts your shirts in view of more eyes.

Can't go wrong, though.

If I was greedy and thought I was in the front running to win, I would say just one winner. Lol! Of course, I'm not greedy and I have no idea where I stand here so I think sharing the love is better. Having 2, 3, 4 or 5 winners is cool. Even if there are 5 $20 prizes and the shirts are at least $26, that's still like getting one heck of a discount code! I don't think any of us would complain about that! ;)

Spread the love 5 winners is fine with me !!

This.
Or doing first, second and third positions - 50, 30 and 20$ respectively.

Thanks Luke,
Wonder if any of the late night (or other timezone) crew is around,

Sneak in last minute entries ;)

This just made me think -- make a fake event shirt. "________ Bar Crawl" and have different lifts or stations listed out instead like those were the bars visited.

Or you could make it a joke about "No, not that kind -- I just finished squatting (or deadlifting)"
