For those of you that like to change things up... This is a very hearty recipe.

Simply crush some almond slices, and mix with lemon pepper and black pepper, garlic and onion powder in a glass dish.

Beat a couple of eggs.

Dip the mahi filets in the eggs, then directly in the almond crust mixture, then in a non stick pan. Bake at 400 and ENJOY!!!!

Can be prepared with "lemon butter sauce" if youre on a bulk.

Heavy whipping cream
lemon juice
sugar
butter/margarine (we use country crock)
little salt and pepper to taste

Sounds delicious! You could use COLD butter in place of the heavy whipping cream and still get the same sauce - and you'd slash the calories/fat. HC is loaded with fat - and not the good kind! Repd for the great recipe!

Made this about a week ago, took pic but forgot to upload. Definite cheat meal though, we made the butter sauce and the side is couscous. Either way pretty good. In retrospect, I would have probably broken up the almonds a bit more in the food processor. It was good, but it needed alittle consistency of texture between the almonds.
