All about the new steroid laws by Rick Collins

They can show plenty of people that have failed doping testing. And there are several articles in the literature linking these to some serious medical problems in users.

Nobody with knowledge would ever say these synthetic designer hormone supplements were benign. Most are relatively safe compared to many other drugs but you will never win an argument saying they are perfectly safe and require no oversight. This is not the 1890s when anyone can sell morphine PMS tonic and cocaine laced effervescent elixirs

I can agree with that point, someone needs to understand how these drugs work, and how to use em to do it safely with no issues, otherwise they can cause some harm... but i dont think banning them so they are no longer made its the best desition... it would be better if they label em as designer steroids and then require a prescription to buy em (just like any other meds) as well as being 21 years or older so we can buy em safely, as we are considered adults and we are free to make our own desitions... also promote education, ect... all this will be better, and will put these drugs under control without playing with our freedom.... banning and making something "illegal" only feeds the black market, again, it is better to make some regulations with something circulating in the world... anyways i hope something can be done (crossing fingers)... we need to put moral aside and face that this world has drugs (something that just exist and cant dissapear), we just need to be educated.

The same could really be said about injectables as well... wait a minute... that's called trt/hrt and all it takes is a sympathetic doc!

All i think is, the FDA must accept that drugs are a reality and they will never dissapear them and they cannot control any single user, they need to stop masking the problem by pointing fingers at sellers and us (users) and calling us criminals/drug abusers specially with something not so harmful or bad compared to alcohol, tobacco, meth, ect... they are only making us to appear as criminals for using em (posesion) when our only goal by using em is to have a better quality of life, improve our looks, whatever the reason, we athletes use em to improve and is all for ourselves, is our joy, our bodies, the world has way worse problems on health and nothing is done yet... i guess FDA only bans these substances (while the olympics appear on tv) just to srpead some morality, whatever the reasons, they are wrong and theres way better solutions, probably based on education and less taboos.

The FDA isn't "banning" anything here - Congress is. The FDA works within the confines of the legislation. The FDA "banned" AX from making SD back in 2006. They have been onto SD for years. Congress is now bringing the DEA into it essentially.

I am probably the only guy on here that actually thinks Designer Steroids should be controlled to some degree. Back in 2003 I go to my local supplement store where I had been buying my Met-RX for years. Well I asked the guy working the counter "Hey, I want to try a different supplement - I have only really taken protein - what do you suggest?" He says. "try this, guys really like it. Take 2 a day." It was M1T - I had no clue that you could buy steroids at a supplement store - I thought you could only get roids through a drug dealer. So innocently I took it - it worked! I went back and bought more, took it and gave some to my buddy lol. After 40 or 50 days I noticed tender nipps and stopped. I didn't do PCT either. I didn't know what a f'ing PCT was - I never planned on doing juice.

That experience blew me away - I was 25 year old, strong and lean, played sports and lifted. But I was never into supplements, Met-RX and steak was fueling me just fine. I went back and talked to the owner of the store and he told me that M1T was a steroid etc. - I then began educating myself.

But I got gyno from that M1T. I had surgery a couple years ago.

I was completely ignorant of the fact that supplements were anything other than natural, harmless......supplements! Shame on me for assuming we have controls in this country for such a thing, obviously.

After I educated myself I did other cycles knowingly, Phera, SD, Halo - I also came to the fact that the legal orals are more harmful than illegal injectables so I then went dark side.

The oral DS are sold as supps, and they are more harmful than illegal injectables. There is no justification for DS/PH to be sold as supps, they are not healthy by any means. I can't argue with them being banned - as supplements.

Making it felony to possess them (classic steroids also) - that is wrong and stupid IMO. i refer to Bigger Faster Stronger as to why it's wrong and stupid to criminalize them.

I had a similar experience when I started about 15 years ago so I agree.

yeah.... i was there with epistane, they just fed me that **** like it was creatine or something.... my pct consisted of gaspari novadex...terrible, no support sups, no drinking gallons of water... the guy at the store was like

If we are in this game, it is our responsability to do extensive and proper research to take care of our health, thats why would be better if these substances are regulated, and probably filling a form so you show your knowledge on steroids, so they can sell em to you. also, if they are labeled as designer steroids, not too many people would take em, almost everyone i know (average guys) are scared when i mention the word steroids.

You have a lot to learn regarding US law and drugs. All prospective drugs must undergo rigorous safety and efficacy testing with the oversight of the FDA before being approved for sale. All drugs must be intended for a legitimate medical use. And the dispensation of anabolic steroids for cosmetic or performance enhancement has been specifically outlawed

People that think you can just "sell" these things are extraordinarily naive

The only possible thing that can happen regarding AAS to come close to what you are complaining about is they reverse the law regarding doctors being able to prescribe them for off label use. Then the traditional AAS could be prescribed to adults under medical supervision. It makes sense. But it willl never happen in our lifetime

with a simple internet search of the ingredients listed on the label of the m1t bottle, you would have known what was in it. people should always know what they are taking. whether it be otc or from a doc or the dealer down the street. its hard for me to believe that somebody can take m1t that much and have no clue what it was. lol you can feel it in 10 minutes and the lethargy is horrible. stuff feels like poison to most people. then you went back and bought more.

i imagine m1t felt like chemotherapy without all the vomiting and diarrhea

you are probably right about it not happening in our lifetime. of course i used to say that about medical cannabis, so who knows. lol

anabolic steroids will eventually get there but its gonna be a long long time.

In my case The simple Internet searches wasn't real prevalent 15 years ago let alone a google search of PH. Remember there was a time that the Internet wasn't big and teenagers wanted to be big so if a guy at max muscle said take this then you took it. There was no AM or bb.com or any of that.

M1T didnt become available until 2004 i believe.

I was talking about the nor-19 that was sold to me when I was 18 and didn't know any better. 15 years ago.

M1T never gave me any negative sides like lethargy etc. - it killed my lipids because I went to the doc after I learned what it was. IDK - SD didn't give me problems either.

And when I first took that M1T I was not consistent with it because I took it so lightly - I really ended up pulsing it which probably avoided some sides.

I agree that people should know what they are taking. I was completely ignorant of the fact that dietary supplements were anything other than natural, harmless supps. Obviously that is my fault and when I realized it, I educated myself. Nonetheless, any kid can go into this store and buy SD, with no real clue of what he is doing.

In a perfect world, a company could sell AAS in a controlled fashion to an educated adult consumer base. Unfortunately we are not there in this country....

It never bothered me at all - I did it in a controlled, educated fashion after my initial "pulse" - 20mg for 30 days and the only sides I felt was strength and size.

Hey guys when will we find out how much time we have until ph's are pulled??

These designer products can be even more dangerous than traditional steroids because they are often untested, produced from overseas raw materials, and manufactured without quality controls.

Let me get this straight - the first round of steroid bannings resulted in the sale and distribution of even more dangerous steroids?

And now ... the fix to that is to ban those more dangerous steroids?

And that results in what? Happiness for everyone? Or maybe more dangerous steroids circulating in the back alleys of the black market?

LMFAO!

These ass holes haven't passed a ****ing budget for the United States Government in 4 years and they think they have the luxury to police this?

Orrin Hatch is a piece of ****.

If Tren is the nectar of the gods then M1T is the Devil's Nectar. It's like a Faustian bargain: crush PRs like egg shells..........on the condition that your body will get brutalized.

I wish they would have at least kept the original 1-ad and 4-ad legal IFAD just banned methylated compounds :annoyed:.

Exactly. The same shiot happened in 2004: ban the relatively safe, unmethylated 1-AD------> make room for the toxic-as-fuark methylated M1T.

hey man we tried. my company used to give ten thousand dollars a month to the cause of keeping the natural prohormones legal. it pissed off other companies that were selling synthetics cuz they wanted their stuff protected too and they thought i was screwing them by working out a white paper with rick collins and company that defended prohormones. defended the only prohormones that were defendable - those with evidence of being natural. just happened to be those were the ones that i was making money off of. what a goddam disaster that was. u cant get any industry lobby movement going in the sports supp market place cuz everyone is selfish and big headed

Can't they just make them only for sale for people over 21 similar to alcohol? I know that would make online purchasing nearly impossible but at least they wouldn't be 100% banned

Lol, no. Because that seems to work so well with minors getting alcohol too.

It is a shame that when it comes to business, most people need rules and threats in order to act in an ethical, forthright, intelligent way - rather than acting out of fear and self-interest. But PA - it is your openness, intellectual integrity and honesty that has lead me to your products. I trust your line over all others, easily. I am completely confident that the products have 100% best efforts behind them. Thanks for that - BTW.

(I actually greatly respect Dr. Connelly as well - but he has an unfortunate choice in partners it seems)

There was an AM member a while back that apparently cycled straight DHEA in large doses along with an AI, and he claimed he got good results. Seems like he was taking ~600mg of DHEA daily along with some ATD or bromo. Would this even work? Seems like a crap shoot. I'll see if I can find that post...

Alright, phuck it, I can't find the post I referred to above, but I know it existed at one point. :boggled: Probably not the thread to ask this in, but if DHEA is going to be the only "ph" available soon, would taking large doses of it with an AI provide any type of benefits? I understand it's poorly absorbed and the conversion rate sucks and all that, but if you take enough of it, would it yield any positive results? Just asking since apparently someone around here at one point said it worked ok for them...

I'm jus throwin spaghetti at the wall here lol I have no real idea how this **** works

I still want to know why anything that builds legitimate muscle is going to carry a felony penalty for possession.

Just don't see the motive for this act... its a bit bizarre. Maybe drug companies have lobbied? I just don't get it.

does anyone know how long we have to stockpile?

I really fail to understand the effect of this since there are injectables that are illegal but you can still get them online... not to mention different compounds will come out and there will always be a market.

So Superdrol is gone the 29th.. Exactly what else are we losing and when? Were losing epi too? Halo? Stano?

Bump, someone please clarify?

From what I understand Superdrol and Prostanzolol will be made schedule 3 drugs making them illegal as Vicodin or Xanax if you have no prescription. But they also want to stop the sales of most PH's. So it won't be illegal to have Halodrol or Epi but it'll be almost as hard to find as illegal AAS. That is my understanding but I could be wrong.

The two you mentioned will be class 3 on Aug 29. The new legislation discussed in this thread would immediately classify as class 3 the other ph's mentioned in the legislation as well as fast track the ban process to quickly include other substances not directly mentioned.

Unless your in Senate or Congress all we can do is contact our reps but honestly who is going to vote no its a political no brainer to vote yes.
