AK32408's Road to Recomp For The Summer With Formex !

DAY 18:

Arm's (bi's, tri's, and forearms)
*4 sets and 8 reps for everything except 21's

Bodyweight Dips - (4 sets and 8 reps)
2 Handed DB Tricep Extension - (80)(80)(85)(85)
Straight Bar Extended Skull Crushers - (65)(65)(70)(70)
Rope/Straight Bar Pressdowns w/ Supersets - (60/80)(70/90)(80/100)(90/120)
Alternating DB Curl (45)(50)(55)(60)
EZ Bar 21's (2 sets with 75)(had to cheat on a few reps to finish :( )
Preacher Machine Curl (90)(100)(110)(110)
Behind the back wrist curls w/ bench press barbell (135 for all reps and sets)

I had a tremendous pump again today. It was hard driving home :laugh:

Vascuality and Endurance were way up again :thumbsup:

My next weigh in will be on Monday before I do Leg's.

Dam that Formex went fast! or maybe time did?

The bottle went faster because I didn't stay with the 50mg dose as recommended on the bottle. I toyed around between 3 and 4 caps a day to find my sweet spot :)

Hmm, that's a really good question Ike.

I would have to say they wouldn't have been too much different besides the endurance in the gym (1 cap vs. 2 caps pre-workout) and the muscle fullness lasted longer at a higher does I think. The higher dose just boosted gym performance and mind-set.

My next bottle of Formex is going to be 3 caps spread about 6-7 hours apart throughout the day because we figured that the Formex has a half life of about 8-9 hours compared to the orig. Fromestane which has a half life between 2-3 hours. That way, I'll have the Formex in my system at a steady dose all day.

Hopefully the new bottles get here sometime this week so I can just start it next Saturday without having to take a day off. Formex is amazing ! I DID NOT feel like being in the gym today at all. I thought the crappy weather would have put me in the mood to be in the gym, wrong ! Maybe it was just depressing seeing the rain after 3 days of beautiful 70+ degree weather :laugh:

But, despite my lack of motivation.. I got a really good workout in. Today was a great endurance test for Formex. When I grabbed the 70's to warm up on DB bench they were feeling a little heavier than usual.. but after the warm-up set I was throwing the 80's and 90's around like they were half the weight. I got to 100x6 but supersetted with the 80's until failure to make up for the lack of the last 2 reps, I had an incredible pump as well during the dumbbell pullovers. Tomorrow I'm going to hit leg's hard !

I took my last Formex last night with 2 X-Dream and had some random, weird dreams. I'd wake up in the middle of the night to go potty :p fall back to sleep effortlessly and have a totally different dream.. I'll see if the same thing happens again tonight.

Nice!!! I had some crazy nightmares as well last. 100x6 is some nicw weight, especially supersetted with 80s.

I'd go harder but I have to conserve my energy and my muscles for all the sets and reps for the other exercises. In May, I'm going for 100 x 12 :cool:

But ya.. after the 100 x 6 and grabbing the 80's right afterward, they felt like 95's for sure !

I went to the grocery store before the workout to get a few gallons of water. I saw the deal of a life time !

I picked up 2 cases :p

My workout went very well. My legs are gonna be sore tomorrow, that's for sure ! Leg presses and squats were especially easy today. I could definitely tell the endurance was there today, time to bump up the weight on both :D

long term you're better off buying a small brita water filtering system and a few bottles, thats what I do been drinking plenty of water with no $$$ worries.

your workout looks solid and next time you still have some gas in your tank add more weight or reps! :thumbsup:

Nice job bro! I love doin legs. I just drink tapwater most of the time, i have one of those brita attachments.

We have a brita, I just gotta start using it more. But you gotta admit.. $5 for 6 gallons is pretty awesome :cool:

Definitely adding more weight next time around for legs. The bad thing is that I ran out of 45's for the leg press today :( ...not because I filled the machine but the rest were being used :laugh:

You had me going there for a sec... wow, run out of 45's, I wish I could say that :) and then I read the rest, too bad... I really thought you filled the machine up :D

the water thing, I dont buy water ever unless im on the road and have no option (I travel with my brita BTW) there's been so many studies made on those bottle waters quality and fresh they are that I refuse to pay for something I can get for free from my tab :thumbsup:

I would probably have an anerism.

The leg press machine in my gym must just be really small.. I can only fit 1, 100 pound plate and 6 or 7, 45's on each side, plus 4 or 5 up top.

The most I got a chance to put on was 830 for 3 reps with the available 100's and 45's at the time

It is incredibly brutal, weights are reletive to your strength.

I hear that, I now only drink water that is filtered through a 7 step carbon filtering system. It takes out almost of the the bad stuff like the floride and other bad things that are added to our water.

I just saw an article yesterday telling us about how they dump millions of pounds of pharmaceutical drugs in our water supplies. That is pretty scarry to me. I also make sure that I carry at least a gallon of my filtered water around with me...
 
Hey AK, nice thread. Im about tro run a stack of formex and DTHC. I was just wondering what kind of BF and weight changes youve noticed? Im sure its in ure log, but the pics are quite distracting for me. lol.
