Agmatine sides ? (NDMA, NS...)

I don't know of any nor do I have any anecdotal experience with any. I have been taking it pretty much for 3 straight years with either Hemavol or SNS Agmatine caps. I read something about elevated "perception of pain" while on Agmatine, but I can't recall exactly what that was talking about. Can't find the study either.

i read about agmatine in psychology forums with good / bad reviews.

wtf. near death ?

Where in the brain might agmatine induce the features of a near-death experience? A key feature of many near-death experiences is the out of body experience. Penfield (1941) found that electrical stimulation of the right superior temporal gyrus in a patient with epilepsy could induce an out of body experience. Blanke et al. (2002) demonstrated that electrical stimulation of the right angular gyrus in a patient with epilepsy could induce an out of body experience as well. Both sets of stimulation sites lied in the right temporo-parietal region posterior to the post-central gyrus (Tong, 2003). In five patients that experienced out of body experiences of neurological origin, brain damage or brain dysfunction was localized to the temporo-parietal junction (Blanke et al., 2004). In patients with epilepsy, a small area in this region has been shown to have an integrative function for inputs from the somatosensory, auditory, and visual modalities (Matsuhashi et al., 2004). Blanke et al. (2004) suggested that ambiguous input from proprioceptive, tactile, visual, and vestibular sensory systems to the temporo-parietal junction could be involved in the precipitation of out of body experiences. Considering the fact that electrical stimulation to the right temporo-parietal junction can result in out of body experiences but not near-death experiences, a localized influence of agmatine on near-death experiences seems unlikely.

I wasn't trying to single out that piece of literature I was only trying to provide a number of articles that presented neurological effects.

I have been dosing 2-4 grams a day for years. It is nothing but awesome. Buy it in bulk and save over brands like SNS etc... they are no better, believe me I have put head to head with two particular bulk suppliers.

I have a kilo waiting for me in NY and can't wait to try a higher dosing plan like that! Agmatine is so many different kinds of awesome.

I got the caps from nutraplanet (their own brand) and love them. They were $9 for 90caps or so. Normally dose 500mg morning and before bed, normally use high volume or hemavol pre workout :)

Thinking about buying bulk powder for sure now!

The NMDA receptor is involved in reinforcing memories but it isn't so much involved in new memory formation. The nootropic/psych forums are hilarious because the people read the MOA and placebo themselves into feeling ANYTHING. I've seen people say how piracetam essentially mimicked MDMA for instance. Do not trust those forums, even the "reputable" members there

i used L-Dopa (NOW) and i had a panic attack... "mind" supplements.....

The only sides that I get from agmatine is intense pumps. All thou at couple of gram dosage (like 2 or 2.5 I think) you might get the sh!ts. I always stuck with 500 to 1g. Conqu3r has 1.5g in it and it felt f#!king amazing so I would stick with a normal dosage on that.

whats the consens between agmatine and citrullin,which is the better one?they look so similar in effects.

I think agmatine would be better long term as far as contributions to strength and mass. Indirectly of course because diet and training dictate results. Supplements contribute but do not determine the type of results.

Also it may possess the ability to increase cAMP, which has a host of benefits.

Whats your thoughts on agmatine fasted when dieting, seeing as it is an alpha agonist?

Well this effect in vivo seemed to be overwhelmed by the increase in cAMP (alpha 2 = decreases cAMP; the b2 receptor works through cAMP), so if anything you get the opposite effect (more fat loss)

citrulline = pumps & recovery

agmatine = pumps & antioxidant

This.

I am running a bottle of Agmatine now with skin-splitting pumps. One thing I am finding is that the longer I am using Agmatine the better the pumps are, for me anyway.

Citrulline Malate gives me a better recovery than some other recovery products I've used. At one time I thought Isatori's Restoraid was the best for reducing DOMS. But after using LiveLong's Citrulline Malate I find it works better for me.

Some research shows the two shouldn't be used together so when my Agmatine is used up I wait a week then dose CM an hour or so before my training sessions. Two weeks off Agmatine then I run another bottle. I just love the pumps :)

yep , great pumps with agmatine, but i dont use now, because, i had a allergy reaction on my feets, and i dont know if the agmatine make me this.

i have 120.000 platelts, with some purpure on feets...

agmatine cause ?

i dont know :S

[QUOTE = T-Bone; 4521805] Eso es bastante dramático. No me gustaría probarlo de nuevo. [/ Quote]

for sure, agmatine not is the holy grail, i can live without it XD
