AE is getting hard with LG's battle hardener kit

Eeek no heat? That's rough!! Definitely found a good way to warm up though!
it did take a while tis afternoon to get warm. Took a little of the sting out of the workout. Luckily I kinda got testy with the repair folks so they are coming in tomorrow on a Sunday. :). Will update with workout results shortly.

Day 14

Ok, so it was an intriguing workout since, as I mentioned earlier, there is no heat. So the sweat I started from the treadmill pre-workout dried very quickly (sadly)

Cardio
30 minutes 12% 3.8-4.3mph

Back
BB Rows (7 sets) sets up to 185
Wide chins (5 sets) BW to failure
Reverse hypers (4 sets) 20 per

Shoulders
4 giant sets of shoulder "rippers"

I stopped here, as I couldn't maintain the sweat and intensity in the workout. This is the one problem with working out at home. Repairman is supposed to be here by noon tomorrow So......tomorrows chest/tri workout should be greatly improved

Typical morning cardio in the books. Weighed in at 199.

Should have heat back soon. Thank goodness

Day 15

With the heat back and fully functional, I didn't hit a second cardio warmup. Straight to chest and tris

Chest
Flat BP (8 sets) 315lbs 2 reps 2 sets
Incline db super set (4 sets) 60lbs flys & press to failure <awesome pump on this>

Tris
CG Bench Press (7 sets) 4 sets @ 225lbs sets of 5-7
french press (5 sets) 115lbs sets of 10

Crazy sweat, amazing what a heated basement can actually do ;)

Will be back tomorrow with a heavier leg day and bi work.

Nice Bench !!

Day 16

AM Cardio warmup
45 minutes 12% 3.9-4.7mph

Legs
Box squats (10 sets) 3 sets @ 295 4 reps

My legs were shot, so i listened to my body a bit on this and stopped the leg work

Bis
DB Hammer curls (5 sets) 55lbs sets of 12
Concentration Curls (4 sets) 40lbs sets of 12
BB Curls (4 sets) sets @ 95 for 5

Update:
Using tomorrow for cardio only. I have a half day at work on Wednesday so I am going to use that day for shoulders/back.

As I mentioned, today is a cardio only day.....50 minutes 12% 3.8-5.0mph.

Tomorrow my intent is to hit fasted cardio in the am, the back and shoulders in the afternoon. :). Love thanksgiving break

Day 17

Typical morning cardio, so lets get directly into the good stuff

Cardio warmup
30 minutes 12% 3.8-4.0mph

Shoulders
Seated BB Press (6 sets) 2 sets @ 205lbs 3 reps and 2 reps respectively
DB lateral superset (4 sets) 30lbs side and read laterals sets of 8-10 reps
DB Shrugs (4 sets) 75lbs sets of 15

Back
BB Rows (5 sets) sets @ 225lbs 3 reps per
Wide chins (4 sets) BW to failure
Reverse hypers with bands (4 sets) 15 per

Overall, great workout with an excellent pump. Very pleased overall with this run. Strength has made steady climbs, and recoup is quite noticeable.

Day 18

Awesome thanksgiving workout

Early fasted cardio as usual for 50 minutes

Here is how the afternoon broke down

Cardio Warmup
30 minutes 12% 3.8-4.0mph

Chest

Tris

Was absolutely exhausted after this so I called it a day as I prepare for a bit of turkey. Very pleased with the lift and enjoying the time to double up during the day right now.

Look at you go; still busting it up on thanksgiving day! Great job! Enjoy your day! :)

thanks Kat. Always working, the beauty of having everything in house. Have a great turkey day

That would be nice! I'd probably drive my hubby crazy! Lol...thank you!

Kat, as your official stalker, I would not feel right if I did not invite you over to my Home Gym.

It's not the equipment in your gym, it's what you do with what you have !

The last 2 days things have been going along as planned. I will give a thorough update this afternoon after back/shoulders. Also, morning weigh in 200lbs even. :)

Day 20

Morning cardio as typical

Afternoon cardio warmup:
30 minutes 12% 3.7-3.8mph

Back:
Meadow Rows (5 sets) 70lbs sets of 15
BB Rows (4 sets) sets @ 185lbs 8 per
Wide Chins (4 sets) BW to failure

Shoulders
Giant super set "rippers" 30lbs to failure per exercise

Roughly about a week + left :( prior to pct starting. Really enjoying this stack. Based on my results I would highly recommend this to others.

Day 22

Been a crazy couple of days but I have been able to keep up with my lifting :woohoo:

A quick summary of chest yesterday was 315lbs for a 2 easy reps on flat

Here is this am

Cardio warmup
45 minutes 12% 3.8-4.5

Legs
Explosive box squats (10 sets) 5 sets @ 245lbs 5 reps per <explosive reps are from a seated position and explode to a half rep then down to a completely seated position>
GHR (5 sets) BW to failure

Arms
Hammer curls (6 sets) 50lbs dbs sets of 8-12
BB curls with fat grips (5 sets) sets up to 95lbs to failure

pump was outrageous and the veins were quite pronounced.

Day 23

Typical morning cardio, so on to the good stuff

Shoulders
Seated BB Press (7 sets) 3 sets @ 185 sets of 5,7,7
DB Laterals superset (5 sets) 30lbs side and rear

Back
Wide chins supersetted after every set of shoulders

Awesome pump, didn't have the typical amount of time that I wanted this am as I have to get into work earlier than normal due to a line of meetings all morning.

I will note, that I am getting to the bottom of the bottles on these. Probably only a few days left before starting the form.

I'm glad you've been enjoying your kit! You've definitely been putting in the work!!

Day 25

Sorry for the delay. I have still kept up the workouts, but we had a family issue that arose rapidly that is going to be taking me out of town tomorrow.

Cardio the past 2 days has been as expected and normal. Here is the chest/tri from this am

Chest
Incline BP (7 sets) sets @ 225lbs 1 set 10 reps :woohoo:
Flat Push Press (5 sets) sets of 225, 255, 275

Tris
JM Press (6 sets) sets @ 225lbs 5 reps per
2-arm DB ext super sets (5 sets) 75lbs & 50lbs

Probably won't be able to lift tomorrow as we are heading out bright and early. Hoping to still get in some cardio however

Log is almost complete :( With the form starting this weekend

That's a nice setup you have there, great to have your own crib. I will throw some pics up of our gym when the website goes up. We got some down recently.

Battle hardener my fav stack.

Hope everything is ok with the family!!

thanks Kat.

We had a death in the family on my wife's side. I hate to be crass, but this person was a walking Sh1t head to me for almost 2 decades. So sadly I feel no sadness whatsoever.

sometimes people are in so much pain inside it's better that it ends for them and seems more like mercy.

I couldn't agree more. The poor guy drank himself to death as it seems he couldn't deal with his own demons. He was youngish too. (Late 60's)

Finalizing my lift now. Last dose of pbold was today when we got home. 17proand finished yesterday morning. :(

PCT has begun

PCT began with a first dose of Form-X yesterday afternoon and one this am. I will acknowledge, the taste is far worse than either of the other 2.

Yesterday was a shoulder and back day which was a bit rushed. Only things of note, I was able to hit 205lbs seated BB Press for 2. I did get a little greedy and attempt 225. I made it just past eyebrow level, but that was as far as my body was willing to go.

I will be back this afternoon with a more detailed chest/tri day

I did complete my typical fasted cardio this am :)

205 is awesome!! Way to go!!...I do hear the taste is pretty rough.

Day 1 PCT

Cardio Warmup
30 minutes 12% 3.8mph

Chest:
Flat BP(8 sets) 2 sets @ 275lbs 5 reps per
Incline DP Superset (5 sets) 60lbs flys & press

Tris:
JM Press (6 sets) 2 sets @ 225lbs
1arm db ext (5 sets) 30lbs to failure

Day 2

Just finished my morning activities

cardio
45 minutes 12% 3.8-4.5mph

Legs
Box squats (11 sets) 5 sets @ 245lbs <hesitation squats> sets of 5-8
Weighted GHR (6 sets) 25-35lbs plate superset with BW

Arms
BB Curls (5 sets) sets to 115lbs all sets 8 reps +
Hammer curls (5 sets) 50lbs sets of 8-12

Overall
Will do a weigh in tomorrow since I was unavailable to do so on Saturday. Strength was good, not great, although the endurance aspect was very positive

Vascularity is also up quite a bit.

Great work!! I'm gonna have to start incorporating box squats to get my squat strength up!

You should still feel like your on for most of the week, first week of PCT is usually pretty badass :)

Day 3

Today was just the typical cardio only day, but here is a rundown of yesterdays activities

its a great thickness exercise. I do this other version called hanging rows. I actually hang from the top of the power rack and do rows. Freaks my daughter out.

Btw, great avi pic kat. Wow

Day 4

We have a bit of a bug running in the house that my daughter thought she should share. The only impact it had was that it cut down on my cardio a bit. So I will focus more on my lifting

I focused more on chest today as I kinda got into a bit of a groove

Incline BP (10 sets) 4 sets @ 225lbs 5-7 reps
Flat db flys (5 sets) 75lbs sets of 10
Floor press (5 sets) sets @ 225lbs-275lbs

Wow! Too cool!! Love it! I think you should video or at least get someone to snap a pic of that!! ...thank you! :)
I hope you feel better! Glad it's not getting you down too bad!

Will have to try and get my daughter to take that pic today. It forces me to keep my grip strong or else a bad injury.

As an aside, cardio is the only aspect being adversely affected by the cold. Had to cut down to 35 minutes as the cough really kicked in as I increased the speed over time.

Back and shoulders this afternoon.

Hit my normal cardio this am. Increased back to 40 minutes, with no real adverse effects from the cough

Back and shoulders went well yesterday

Didn't have a chance to get a picture of the hanging rows as my daughter and wife were out holiday shopping. I will most definitely try for next week.

Overall, strength was still good and bodyweight is still sitting under 200lbs. Will give a more detailed analysis of chest/tris later today
