ABCDE Diet and the "Zigzag" Diet

Anyone remember the ABCDE diet that was mentioned a few years back in MM 2000? Wondering if anyone has tried it. Right now I am on Fred Hatfield's "Zigzag" diet which is similar to the ABCDE diet but shorter (the cycles last days instead of weeks.) Any feedback on these diets?

was that the diet for twp weeks, bulk for two weeks diet?

ABCDE diet.

They work on the same principle basically but differ on methodology. Basically diet a short period, then a refeeding period. The idea is to trick the body and avoid catabolism.

Basically, this will have a fairly similar net effect to bulking and then cutting (if done properly) but a lot of people have an easier time staying on cyclical diets. It will also allow you to get stronger/bigger while staying fairly lean (though you won't get big or strong as fast as you would on a straight bulk, if that makes any sense).
