A Ranger with his Essentials is dangerous

yea dude im glad your knee are getting better and your workouts are good.

still getting the tingling feeling from the beta alanine?
Thanks Crazy, yeah I am still getting the tingling. They are not as noticeable as before. I was out of fruit juice yesterday, so I had to man up and drink that stuff mixed in plain water.........blech.

Day17
Well I took Crazy's advice, and finally mixed it with crystal light, mmmmm. This is weird, the knee that I had gotten relief on, started hurting again, walking is painful. I am at the point where I feel I need to go see a doctor. I haven't done any leg workout for over a week now, not even calfs. I need to fly to NY, I am thinking of cancelling because I know my knees won't make it sitting cramped like that; they hurt when I sit to watch tv. What do you think guys? What kind of doc should I see? I know there are all kinds of bone and joint specialist, I just don't want to get jerked around by one doc telling me see this or that person.

can be from the extreme cold, my knee was bothering me a little today (year ago i got a bone bruise from snowboarding, that took like 6 weeks to heal)

see an orthopedists. get MRI and see what the damage is. so you can better self medicate lol.

Yeah I am going to make an appt on Monday. What specialist should I seek out? My medical plan allows me to go directly to a specialist without having to be referred by a general practitioner first. Man I miss those military days when I did not to worry about co-pay and deductibles, and paying for meds.

Seek an orthodpedic specifically, I hear ya, medical visitations can cost a fortune. I wish you the best on your healing process, hopefully orthopedic sees nothing too serious.

Well I have completed my experiment with Essentials. Here is my summary:
My initial purpose for testing this supplement was to see how it would offer any relief for my knees. I did in fact get some relief, not too significant, but some none the less. I did not work out much while testing the supplement, but on the days I did, I got some good work outs. I substituted it as a pre work out because I ceased using JP8 in order to give Essentials a fair critique. I did not experience any real loss in strength or focus when I took it prior to working out. I would actually consider using it as a non stim pre work out supplement. I think Essentials is good supplement that can be taken as a maintenance supplement. It may work as a good joint relief supp, but not in cases where the injury is severe as in my case. Not taking anything away from Essentials, I just think it is “multi supp” first, and a joint supp second. Within a few minutes of taking it, you can feel the tingling sensation all over you. Taste wise; well let’s say that is the last thing they focused on when they were making this… it is horrible. I have mixed it with all sorts of drinks, but Crystal Light is the one that really made the difference. Would I recommend or buy Essentials, I sure would, but not as remedy for someone with joint issues, unless they were mild symptoms. While I did not get the relief or results I wanted or expected for my knees, I am still pleased with Essentials, because it allowed me to experience something I can use as sort of an “all in one” supplement. While it is not like JP8, for a non stim supp, it sure gave good energy, and focus. I started my Epi cycle today, and since it is not a good thing to mix PH with pre work out stimulants, then I might incorporate Essentials in my cycle as a pre workout. Thanks to the folks at AI for granting me this opportunity.

Thanks for the honest review, I do feel that the complex in essentials is geared more for preventing joint injuries than healing, it can aid, but cissus is known to regenerate bone tissue and cartilage due to its calcium retaining abilities.
