Lol everyone is talking about metal music and I'm over here like....
Is this cycle finished? Do you have bloods?
So what is it your still running ? You dropped the injectables correct?
There hasn't been any actual grindcore posted. Cannibal Corpse is plain Death Metal and mainsteam enough to be in Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Torsof*** is Brutal Death/Goregrind, and Infant Annihilator is just Deathcore. Not even good Deathcore. A lot of bands in the goregrind/porngrind subgenres are all shock value with album covers and song titles. The really good stuff out there is the obscure Brutal/Tech Death Metal like Wormed, Necrophagist, things that aren't meant just to shock but have true artistic value to them.
AWESOME!!!!!Concert last night was beyond awesome. Metal is alive and well.
My sons carry on the tradition of me going to concerts with my Dad.

I like that even with all the screaming. Nice musicality and complicated beats. I can really get into some of the screaming stuff and some I simply can not stand and will turn it off even if I love the music. The origin of Grind, Gore, and Melodic Death all in one album. And one of my top 3 albums of all time.

This one was pretty sick too. You might just convert me to some of the heavier stuff if you keep it up with vocals I can deal with too!So the lethargy seems to be come and go. Some days it's really heavy, some days it's non-existant. Today it almost forced me to stay in bed. But I fought it. The pump of an Arm and Ab session was calling me. And so worth the effort. Haven't done an arm focused workout in a while, and today made me realize it needs to be a regular occurrence. Carbed up real good yesterday for the occasion.
Rope Hammer Curls / Overhead Tricep Rope Extensions x 5 Super Sets
DB Kickbacks / Concentration Curls x 4 Super Sets
Reverse Grip Pull Downs / Hercules Curls x 5 Super Sets

Incline Walk x 10 minutes
Just in case you don't know what Hercules Curls are...

And yeah, the new Black Dahlia Murder is ridiculous.

I bet your arms were looking sick!!!!!
By the way I am up like 5 lbs since starting the RAD but think it is all glycogen / water based at this point.
5lbs. is 5lbs.!!!
It makes my day if someone gets something out of this log, whether it be gains or tunes!!
No doubt, and the 5lbs makes me look better too! If I keep myself around this weight and harden up I am not going to be complaining. Funny thing is that 5lbs was while being in a deficit. This stuff doesn't care... Oh maintenance calories for other body functions... Nahhhh we aren't doing that right now. I am gonna need all the carbs in the express shuttles heading to the muscle bodies. All other caloric or energy needs be damned, it is anabolism time!
And yeah, the new Black Dahlia Murder is ridiculous.
Yeah, man, definitely spoiled at the moment with the new Cattle Decapitation, Black Dahlia and now Nile albums. Usually it's an easy choice for me to pick an album to listen to but it's a bit of a tug of war between these three at the moment.
It's the next logical progression from Monolith. Same feel, same vibe but a little more refined and I think the production is has improved a lot too.
Depends what you mean by early, I think the earliest I have heard is Karma Bloody Karma which I was not a huge fan of, Harvest Floor I got into a bit more but Monolith was really the first time I really enjoyed these guys.
This album has arguably less brutality, more technicality than the earlier stuff (Before Monolith). They throw in a bit more midtempo stuff I think but without letting it be any less in your face. More "clean" vocals too which I think the guy does really well, they're not so much clean but they're obviously not growls either.
Sometimes the ride is just overUuuggh, this lethargy is enough to want to freaking call it. I hate to say that. But I am a high energy dude. Anyone who knows me, knows that it would take a lot to slow me down. But this shiit is working hard against me. And at this point I don't believe I'm gaining anymore. The next 2 weeks could all be in vein. I believe I'm getting more out of my staples and PWO supps in the gym than the RAD. This is the lethargy talking!!!

Interesting, my lethargy has gone away for the most part, I will continue another 4 weeks or so with the rad and epiandro! Hell of a log tho Dma

First track is one of my favourites on the album:

"To Serve Man" was my introduction to Cattle Decapitation. The nonstop dual vocals and actual death metal riffs with crap production, so dark and demented. Then they got too grind for my taste before they found this melodic technical style they have today. But if you haven't heard To Serve Man, check it out.

Could very well be the dosage. Maybe I'll cut it back to 8 or 12 and see what happens before I just call it. For science you know!!??
That's not too bad, I'd have to give the new stuff a few spins before really deciding how I feel about it. It didn't grip me immediately the way the new TBDM/Nile did. However I did chuckle at this related video:

I did quite enjoy that album, though they've changed a lot in the last 13 years since it was released. It had an old school death metal vibe to it, with the riffs and production, with hints of black metal.
I want to bed early, got over 8 hours sleep, still slept through my alarm for several minutes as it went off next to my head. It's like waking up after a night of drinking, I feel so dulled. My senses, my reaction, my energy levels. That first cup of coffee in the morning does nothing whatsoever. This is my last week of RAD, so I'll see how drastically I change when I discontinue.
That is very interesting, man. I wonder what you've done that is different than Dma and myself.

I'm gonna attempt another 3 weeks with 12mg and maybe the last week at 16mg for science!
Lethargy is gonna ruin every compound for me

Neil Degrasse Tyson for the win. That dude is awesome.
Look at my profile, him and Carl Sagan are the 2 people I'd like to meet. Unfortunately Carl Sagan is unavailable. NdGT carries on his legacy like a champ.

And broadcast on Fox which was fantastic!! My Dad is still a member of the Planetary Society.
A definite correlation between the two. Which we discussed in pm.
That is fantastic your Dad is still a member! I'd love to see Neil Degrasse Tyson in person, much like yourself. In October he'll be in Cincinnati, that's the closest to me, I really want to go!

Awesome!! You ever listen to his podcast Star Talk?
Good stuff, and he has some surprising guests on there who support science.
Oh yeah, I'm subscribed to his YouTube channel and will either watch Star Talk, or just let it play and listen to it at work. I find it to be very informative, he has some really cool and funny guests on there from time to time. And I usually walk away with knowing a bit more than I did before with each program, he has an uncanny ability to put things into simplistic enough terms to comprehend. I really enjoy hearing about physics, astrophysics, and quantum physics. But it's far outside of my ability to truly grasp. But he conveys things in his programs in a way that there are moments where certain concepts just click, and I love it.
What kind of work so you do? Just curious if it's related to this at all.
That's why he's so good. He makes those fields accessible to a broader audience.
It's an uphill battle in this country unfortunately. Politics and ideologies are the enemy of science here, far more than they are in other parts of the world.
I'm a Quality Manager at an Aerospace machine shop. In a sense yes. We do make parts that go on satellites, rockets, aircraft, and even made some parts that went into the repairs on the International Space Station.
I couldn't agree with you more. We've fallen behind as a country in many ways. When you consider how many other countries outperform us in various fields, you have to wonder why education hasn't been improved. I'm not even sure people realize how many countries rank higher than us in Math and Science.
pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/02/02/u-s-students-improving-slowly-in-math-and-science-but-still-lagging-internationally/
And that's just a single example, when it comes to college-education we are also pretty far behind. Which isn't surprising when other countries give students free education and we are up to our eyeballs in loans and debt in an attempt to get a college education. It's sad. Politics and ideologies are definitely negatively impacting American society and preventing progression.
That is badass, I had no idea. That really sounds like a cool job! Did you ever make it over to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (NASM)'s annex at Washington Dulles International Airport?? I went with family in 2013, it was amazing. After watching the shuttles launch in Florida as a child, it was like a dream come true.
