Off day. I'm pretty sore I need it. Gonna no carb it today. I think I'll no carb all off days and low carb all on days except one day that will be a designated cheat. Perhaps legs day.

Sounds like a good plan. No carb will be trace? How many grams you consider low?

bike HIIT 2 min jog 30 sec sprints for 15 minutes. got them all this time gonna be doing 1.45 and 30 next session
 
Oh. Forgot the little rant I heard one of the female trainers go on on one of her clients today. I about died loling at her client.

So me and my partner go walking over to the cable machine next to where she's training at ( I like to lift close to her she's a smoking hot red head. I've seen her leg press 14 plates knees to tits. Almost certain before this happened that she uses var. now I'm 100%. She's yelling at the kid for drinking 3x since his last session with her less than a week ago. She says you'll never get as lean as you want if your drinking beer every night. He says I wish I could get steroids so I could drink beer.

She flew off the handle on him. You really think steroids are cheating?! You could give two guys that look the same the exact same doses exact same lifting routine and you know which one looks better?! The one that works 10x harder in the gym. The one that doesn't drink or have 4 cheat meals a week. That's which one. Just like the difference between people that don't use steroids. Dude didn't say a word till it was time to leave lol.

We did a ton of this for pro day/combine training. Strangely we learned going wide for this was the best technique, with a big back arch of course. I think 33 @ 240 body weight was my best. My d-line workout buddy did like 42 at 275 lb bw. If you look at the vids from the past combine ppl had sht form. Jadeveon clowney looked like he was almost doing cgbp and had awful form. Weird considering he prolly has 10 coaches for the combine.

33 @ 240 is legit. But what does form matter - isn't the end goal to perform AMRAP with 225? Surely anything that gets it done while avoiding injury is on the table in a contest like that.
 
Btw Sbeast, your bench always flabbergasts me -335x5 is nice, but doing it with the 1-inch pause from chest & explosive reverse is another animal.

honestly hyde, maybe for your PL meet look into benching 2-3x a week. i've said it before thats why my bench is strong is because i benched every monday and thursday and occasionally mwf. maybe we can modify your cube if you want to give it a shot.

It's basically just what we did in school way back, idk if it was a program or what. I'm more than happy to share what I remember though.

Legs on tap for tomorrow with potentially 2 partners tomorrow.

Because he could have had more reps if he trained properly. Clowney is like 265 at 8% or so, he should have been able to do more than 24 reps; his problem if you look at the video was that he maximized range of motion rather than minimized it. Clearly he didn't train for it.

I don't think it'll make much difference, but you see like 6' 200" safeties and RBs do 30 reps which helps their draft stock, speaks to his work ethic IMO. Training for the combine was the most important thing in his life presumably, and IMO he didn't take it that seriously.

Maybe I'm being a little critical bc I clearly don't have his god given athletic gifts or else I'd be playing in the nfl but it's sad when ppl with that much natural talent don't optimize it through hard work. You see someone like Adrian Peterson as what can happen when you have crazy talent and maximize it through hard work, though.

I've actually been doing the 2x/wk for some time now, but one day was always max effort & the other a speed day. I made a little progress, but I need something different. Lilly basically has you practice each of the 3 lifts every wk but each time rotates between either Heavy, Explosive, or Rep-based training. Instead of a speed day (there's already an explosive day every 3rd wk & the bench in general being trained every wk once) on the 4th & last day of the wk the Hypertrophy day for weak bodyparts always begins with Military Presses of 3-4 sets of 8.

He said he used to Military all the time when he trained Strongman, & when he went to Westside & dropped it (I was following basically a diluted Westside split & also dropped military) he found his raw bench actually dropped. When he added it back in he found it started climbing again. I did the same thing Brandon did, so hopefully adding it back in will have me follow suit *fingers crossed*

I can also add some bench to my hypertrophy day after military presses too tho if I really wanted.

Cruising on 300 deca lol. My shoulders have never felt better. And my knees and hips and ankles... :-D got a big blast up my sleeve for maybe mid may. Almost contemplating going up to like a gram of deca and test and maybe some var or win or both but I'm gaining readily now that I'm not low carbing.
 
2g with some orals is gettin kinda hefty, dontcha think? I mean especially if you're not actively competing. Not that you need competition to validate the desire to become a shredded meat titan, just that there are no free lunches so if time isn't of the essence taking the slow & steady might prove healthier. I'm not judging, just picking your brain for thoughts on this personally.

Also, what are you using & how are you dosing it for estro & prolactin control, specifically? Curious because since it's been treating you so well I've considered trying a large amount of LMG for 8wks or so in fall as a basis for my cycle. I didn't realize you could more or less cruise it.

Right now e2 and p controls are minimum if any. Since aromatization is so low in deca I may take .5mg every other week letro. Prolactin isn't bad either. I could get away with p5p. I like the idea of multiple orgasms so I'm taking .25 caber e4d. Might not be a big enough dose for that.
 
That is nuckin' futs. Wish I could get away with control like that. On 9 caps Max Bulk & 2 caps Focus/day currently & I'm currently eating 0.4ml Letro every morning & thrown an evening dose of it as well last 2 nights just to keep my chest in check. Aromatizing like a boss, this stuff.

I find after a while your body gets used to the androgens. For the first like 6 weeks I was using ralox and small doses of letro then my nips just stopped bugging me. I'm almost starting to wonder if the caber killed some lingering p gyno.

Went through last night, reworked the diet, not seeing the progress I want at 2600 cals 330p 120c 110f. We're now looking at 245p 200c and 40f. That's closing on on what I followed when I was nice and lean, few more cals since I'm slightly larger. The fat should melt. Once I hit a target goal of around 8-10% I'm going to slowly reverse diet out of that.

I'll be doing Sunday weigh in and photo updates starting Sunday next week. This AM I weighed in at 231.2 which hasn't budged since I added carbs back in a few weeks ago.

No gym today thank god. Got 10" of heavy ass snow to shovel...

Tomorrow is heavy shoulders.
 
My coach has me almost on the exact same split except for double the cards. I lost 3 pounds the first week alone
 
idk if i've mentioned it but i wound up ordering 4lbs of protein and 1 lb of the sweet potato powder from true nutrition. i figured i'd follow up for others that were interested in any of the products that i've sampled. the flavors of the protein are pretty good. got double chocolate and chocolate peanut butter. the sweet potato powder i swear is dried sweet taters. its gritty and even throught he flavoring you can taste them, which im ok with but may be a huge turn off to others. the beef isolate protein also has little crystals of sweetner in it that dont typically disolve well. still the taste is pretty darn good compared to like optimum or EAS.

Calories are strict man, idk how you do it. You think the test 2x as high as the Tren will treat your gyno alright? I know some people apparently running higher test than tren bugs them a lot, & I know you're not much for test in general.

Calories are easy though. Honestly I find it much easier to eat carbs and not eat fat. I really won't notice it. I really like to cut with high carbs and low fat. I maintain strength pretty well also. I will say my strength was putrid on no carb. Your competition bench put mine to shame.

It's low doses of both... Honestly I'm not too concerned if I notice anything, raloxifene. Also with the longer periods between injects the estro doesn't build and spike as quick I feel. Idk. You know I'll keep it updated lol.


As for the lift:

Seated db shoulders
40x15 50x10 60x10 70x10 80x10 90x10 50x23

Rear delt db flies 3x10 1x20

Machine side laterals meadows style 3 sets 1 burn out set

I'm pretty behind on things here atm so I apologize if it's been asked already but ive always been to the understanding that hcg is suppressive to LH and as such should be avoided during pct when your trying to get your natural LH levels back up.

Hey dude I'm following a clinical study from a dr not internet bro scientists! Lmao. Nah but hcg can be suppressive if it's used in high amounts for a long period of time. This is two weeks and it isn't much. The clomid is ran two weeks past to keep the boys working, which is where clomid really shines, then the nolva continues two weeks further also helping keep the balls running while protecting weird estro sides. If anything I'd be worried to run hcg during a 24 week cycle which is what this has turned into for me. I would imagine a duration like that would cause more suppression than dr scallys small two week blast.
