I agree Patrick. Even the low dosed Now foods brand is awesome. I could eat it like candy.
Everyone who is into supplements should know about resveratrol but apparently they don't. Its the king of supplements IMO, and should be right up there along with vitamins and minerals

Very true, I would love to see the test. But PA usually puts out good products.
As far as ATD v/s 6-OXO isn't it that under the Ergopharm name he won't use ATD as he doesn't think it is DSHEA compliant? Think I remembe that from a long time ago.
Ok so let me get this straight. In that article listed it says you would need to have 400mg per kilogram of bodyweight. I weigh 229 as of today, so I would need 41.6 grams of this stuff a day?. That seems like a lot!. I can get a bottle of this stuff for really cheap, around $10. Now I am thinking about it,

So is it worth it since I can get a HUGE discount? I never thought this stuff was that popular or helpful, but now I'm having second thoughts about it reading this thread.
Patrick,
I know your supplement has resveratrol due to this thread, and as I have stated I am currently using the NowFoods brand which is obviously much lighter dosed. The article says for a human to equal the benefits the mice received they would have to drink around 100 glasses of wine. Now my question- I like what I am seeing even with a low dosed supplement, not even comparable to what the mice had- but what would you suspect the result would be if humans used a dosing simliar to what the mice were given? Do you think it will ever be available or affordable? I guess I have to say it would possibly top all my supplement favorites, and its at the top now.
I am taking NOW brand too, I am finding my self taking 12 caps a day, which is very expensive.
I wish I could get 6oxo extreme without the 6oxo (I cannot import 6oxo).
well the problem with reservatrol is it is not that bio avialable i have no clue how you can judge which supp is more bioavailable but trans-reservatrol is as good as it gets for us now. (at least affordable wise, i believe there is an even higher grade tho but $$$)
i keep bugging my business partner to put some of the 50% resveratrol in caps under giant nutrition.
primarily because i got sick of eating the damn powder and stopped taking it for a while
I'd buy it.
So what do you guys think about this supplement I linked?. Would it be a good deal if I could get it for actually $5 a bottle, sorry $10 was wrong. The wife can get me a bottle for five bucks. Should I get a few bottles and take say 10 servings a day?. Is it worth it?
safe for 18 year olds? if i have mild gyno due to past mistakes perhaps?
resveratrol is quickly rendered inactive by sulfation and glucuronidation. these are methods your liver uses to make substances water soluble so they may be excreted in the urine
quercetin is an inhibitor of sulfation and it has been shown to increase the bioavailability of resveratrol substantially. piperine is an inhibitor of glucuronidation so it too is advantageous when consumed with resveratrol
It's cheap because it's an 8% extract and does not specify if it is TRANS-resveratrol. I would skip.

Patrick,
Is this the Sirtris brand that you want them to cap? If its not what brand is putting this 50% resveratrol out in powder form?
i won't recommend 6-oxo for 18 year olds but i think people of any age should take resveratrol
i think all natural resveratrol is trans. if cis exists it is a very minor percentage
I'm going 3 weeks at twice a day then finishing the 4th week with either regular 6oxo of doing 1x day extreme. You'll really like it.
Just for the sake of simplicity -
"Some supplement makers claim that only the trans- form matters, and that the cis- form is not useful or perhaps even a bad thing. Other makers simply report total resveratrol content -- or in some cases, just the quantity of an "extract" source, which only contains some percentage of resveratrol.
Unless specified, one has no certainty whther you are getting cis or trans in each of the extracts. Go for the ones that are obvious that they contain TRANS.
we researched and the plant that reseveratrol is extracted from in china contains about 95% trans, the rest being cis
so its essentially all trans. no need to fret

Its not cheap, its $60 for 30 caps. I can get a bottle for $5 though...

If it really is trans-resveratrol - it's a steal. I would inquire directly to verify it. 8% is kinda low - how much are you really getting?
The wife works at a call center so she gets it for herself really cheap. They are not educated on the supplements much, they just pretty much sell stuff that is advertised on informercials and things like that. They get discounts on products for themselves. I really didn't know anything about this product at all till I saw this thread.
DeerDeer, any new thoughts on the 6oxo X???

PA,
I came across a site that is claiming to have 95% Trans Res. My question to you is if a proper ratio of Quercetin and Piperine were taken together with it, would it be able to "survive the digestive tract" as some are saying resveratrol alone normally wouldn't?
I was considering a stack like the following:
weeks 1-4: 11 OXO (3-4 caps/day), 6 OXO Xtreme, 1.0-1.5g T-Resveratrol, quercetin & piperine product
weeks 5-8: 6 OXO Xtreme, 1.0-1.5g T-Resveratrol, quercetin & piperine product.
It certainly wouldn't be cheap but all this talk about res has me interested.
Id like to know if that product in question is really 95% trans too....
That cycle looks awesome im sure PA would approve haha:thumbsup:

i just took my 1st dose today. about 30 minutes after taking it had to take a dump. i guess if its the extreme its a good thing, means its working. deerdeer a quick q, if you dont mind. do you see a problem taking rpm/leviathan/incarnate and reset ad while taking 6 oxo extreme? btw you notice any mirror diference yet? thanks.
I would think that reset ad should be taken separately from a stim such as RPM. I don' tknow about rpm's ability to increase absorption. I would suggest trying the 6oxext solo. Maybe someone else can chime in who has had personal experience addressing oyur question.

lol, yeah I would hope so.Whether I add anything to it or not, I'm definately doing a cycle of 11OXO & 6OXO
As fat as the trans-res, I was a bit mistaken. They supposedly have 99%, 98%, and 50%. They also have "CoA"s posted which appear to be legit. I'm no expert on them, though.
the resveratrol bulk material on the market today is extracted from the Polygonum Cuspidatum (a plant) and comes from china
it is all standardized for TRANS-resveratrol. not total resveratrol
PA, do you suggest stacking 11-OXO with 6-OXO Extreme?
