Started benching again. Staying real light. Also starting the beginnings of some dedicated strength work. Going 5x5 on 4 week waves up to 85%. Staying at 70% all summer and adding volume. Strength is what it is for this years worlds. Fall I’m going to make one last run at bulking up and putting on some muscle. Leto is the **** for me and I’m confident I can carry another 7-8 pounds of muscle and still stay lower bf while using it.

MMA mostly. Did some Thai but it was pretty unofficial. Lol. Pro Thai wasn’t legal where I live until a few years back. Had 12 mma fights. Kissed my sister 6-6. Took on some big hitters from the beginnings of mma, but could never beat any of them.
Who were the big hitters? Im a huge mma fan and used to train in jiu jitsu, muay thai, boxing, and mma as well. Really wish i could still afford to train there cause i loved it. I wish i could compete too but if i fight anywhere thats drug tested i would get dq'd for sure lol but back when i trained there i was natty
 
My first fight was John Renkin. He was like 19-11 when I fought him. My second was Lavern Clark. He was a pro boxer and also pro mma fighter. He actually knocked out Shonnie Carter before I fought him. I got them both into deep water, especially Renkin, but I just didn’t know what I was doing. Ended up getting arm barred by Renkin with like a minute to go. Clark choked me out from the rear. I was laying it to him when I got swept and I didn’t know anything about the guard so I flipped over and did a standup, wrestling style. Good night. Hahahah.

It’s leaking like crazy and hampering my workouts. I need it to last one more year then I can put up a nice new one like at my old house.

On a side note I ordered a casual bowtie from Donnie Thompson today to help with my back pain. I’m also thinking about going down to the pharmacy and getting some CBD oils to help with healing, inflammation, and sleep. It’s a little expensive but I need something. I hate taking nsaids anymore. They don’t work real well in me and I end up taking a pile of them.

Changed workouts a little. My treadmill naturally has about a 2% incline and I’ve had the back propped up so it was essentially zero. I think that it was too much for the motor/board and that’s why the breaker kept tripping. So I put it back to its natural incline and so far not a problem. I reset my mph a little lower because the incline really kills me. I’m hoping that it doesn’t give me Achilles tendinitis again. That’s why I originally went to no incline. We shall see.

Takedown fit-ins and passing.
Live 6x3:00 scores rounds. Went 3-3.
Lost two to the black belt and one to the monster white belt I roll with. Lol. He’s a giant, tough wrestler and he gives me fits from the feet. I manage to win the other two against him, barely. Hahaha.

Drilling De La Riva 40 minutes
Live 10x3:00

Knee is still a little mushy, but doesn’t hurt. Put a brace on it, taped it all up, and put a knee sleeve over that. Looked like I had a cast on, but did the trick.

Was supposed to get a sprint workout in, but with two mat sessions in a day I opted to wait until Thursday to do it.

What belt do you you wear? I was that monster white belt at my gym lol this was before im as big as i am now but i always gave everyone trouble and they always complained about how strong i was. I was a wrestler too. I would regularly win rounds against blue belts and purple belts. Black and brown? Thats a different story lol most embarrassing part was we had this green belt 15 year old that had been doing jits for 10 years and he was a freaking nightmare for anyone really but yeah he embarrassed me quite a few times lol
