43 yrs old, trying to lose Fat

undecided

New member
I am 43, worked out a lot in my 20s and my weight then was in the low 160s and I was benching 225s.

I weight 193 right after the holidays benching 135. I started working out again and right now I weigh 185 benching 200. ( I am using benching as a measure of strength).

I bought PowerFull and Hematropin. I was planning to stack them. I started 2 days ago. 3 caps of Powefull pre-workout and 3 caps of hemotropin pre-bed.
I already saw a 20% strength increase today. I hope it's not a placebo effect.

My goal is to hit the 160s and bench > 225. What do you guys think?

Add Prime and AP and stay at 185 but at the same body fat you would be at 160 and bench 250... lol that is not that much of an exageration if it is at all.

Diet is number one though without that you get basically nowhere, or you results will be greatly diminished.

I am not kidding about the stack though, it's pretty amazing...

hmm, at 185 i am pretty chubby (22-24% bf)

I understand about the diet. I have really bad habits there I eat crap that would make most dedicated bodybuilders vommit.

Anyway, I remember at 160 i was vascular. At 185 I cannot see the vein going over my bicep. I want to be lean enough to see my bicep vein. My workout routine is 1/2 hour of intense free weights at lunch time at work ( i rotate body parts throu out the week) and a couple of miles at the track after work. On the weekend i play 4-6 hrs of tennis.

Doesn't matter what the scale says, I am the same weight as I was a year ago and about 5% leaner... maybe more. Fat loss does not necessarly mean weight loss and it's better when id isn't.

But, is it realistic? Obviously for me to have gotten chubby I may have developed mild insulin resistance. I see that AP does not work well for people who have that. I wonder if anyone has looked into whether AP works better for people who are already lean vs people who carry BF > 20%.

I did not use it when I was that high so I can't comment. I don't know if insulin resistance is a factor or not. I know I am basically carb sensitive and this has really turned that around for me. From what I have heard this is very good for endos in general.

Anabolic-Pump is one of the best products on the market to combat insulin resistance. Trust me, it changed my life. AP is the reason that I work 80 hours a week for this company...

I was about ~30% BF, passing out after post-workout meals @ about 295lbs. With diet, training, Anabolic-Pump and Recreate; I dropped to 242 and competed in my second powerlifting meet which I set personal records at.

This is as I suspected but did not want to comment without personal experience as I had gotten under 15% before I started using AP. I am however insulin senstitive and it did wonders for me as well.

And if you need any input based on personal experience, please ask. Keep in mind, I am biased as hell... I love this stuff... haha

I must admit to a certain amount of bias as well.. due to product adoration :nervous:

Guys I am using AP, PF and Recreate

Seems that my weight has plateued at 177-179. In the last 2 weeks I have fluctuated between those 2 weights. My diet is superb, I eat < 2K calories (except for 1 day where I pigged out, ate 4K calories). I just started the recreate in an effort to kickstart the weight loss. It's actually a sample Casey sent me. I am about to order a bottle. I am almost done with my 2nd bottle of PF (only use it pre-workout, not sure if I need to do the pre-night sleep dose as well). I will keep everyone posted of my progress with Recreate.

Good job on your progress, please be sure you do let us know how you are doing, recreate is not a magic pill, but it sure does a nice job. The ap, pf & recreate should yield some interesting results for you.

what do u mean "not a magic pill"? The ad says I will lose 10lbs in 12 weeks......
:)

BTW, my weight now has dropped below 178 for the whole week (oscillated between 177.1 and 177.9) so that's good.

Ten pounds in twelve weeks is actually a fairly conservative estimate, provided your diet is adequate! 1.5 - 2 pounds is certainly well within the range of a reasonable and safe amount of weight to lose per week!

Agreed I like to slow it down myself .. unless I have a deadline. I find by doing so I can actually add mass. Especially using the right herbs....

176.3 and that was consistet this past week

Went like this:
176.7
176.5
176.3
176.2

The last 4 times I checked on the medical scale. I think I am below 176 right now but I won't be able to check on the medical scale until tomorrow.

AP does more then the aforementioned greatness

has the ability to increase LDLR sensitivity to uptake LDL to be repackaged ect thus leading to lower ldl and a slighly higher or consistent hdl
