38 years old and 218 test level ?

Be been feeling like **** and went to the doc and he got a test level of 218. I'm now thinking of getting the pellets put in. Any body have any experience with them or suggestions?
 
Find a doc that'll let you have injectable test. One that doesn't breathe down your neck about dosing.

What about tongkat Ali. It works for me. Black lion research is about to start selling it. I'm using there's now as a beta tester. It's good.
 
Forget test boosters, it's TRT time my man.

Go to an anti-aging clinic and get a robust regimen built around self-administered injections of testosterone cypionate and HCG. It will absolutely change your life. Been there, done that, wish I'd done it years earlier, won't ever go back. Don't mess around with creams or gels or pellets or your primary care doc, do it right.
 
another option is to run clomid at 25 mgs per day for 3-6 months.
I am currently doing this as well as running a few items like tropinol and intimidate along side to see if I can get back into the 700s before I capitulate and got full trt
 
My doc doesn't like the pellets as a delivery system. The injections are the way to go. TRT is for life so as a lot of the other guys stated maybe try some other options. I have a friend on HCG monotherapy that has his numbers in the mid 6's from a low of 212. He injects 500iu 2x a week subq with a slin pin.

I'm on 175 a week and my test is up in the 800-900 range and everything is humming along just fine.

I tried clomid and other than being able to ejaculate like peter north I didn't notice much of a difference.

Edit-I tried a lot of the test boosters and like the others I got a little hornier and a some skin blemishes but didn't notice any increase in the gym or in mood.

And as far as an anti aging clinic, I agree with the other poster. That's how I started out but I felt like they were a revolving door and I didn't get much in the way of an answer as to the cause. I have good insurance so I got referred to an endo to confirm primary shutdown. I wrestled and rode bmx then motocross for years and then took up MMA. The doc asked if I ever took a good shot to the testes and I laughed. I spent half my younger life getting kicked or taking a crossrail to the nuts so yeah doc "once or twice".

I felt better knowing I had a diagnosis. My concern was that it may have been cancer or a genetic disorder and I wanted to discount all of that.

I eventually found a doc who was well versed in TRT and I'm sticking with him. He added Aromasin and HGC to my protocol and I'm doing great.
 
What's the difference between the shots and pellets ? Other then I don't need to get shot in the ass every other week with the pellets. It sounds like the shots last about ten days before they fade. And the pellets last 5 months.
 
Pellets have a reputation for being ineffective and painful. Shots are not bad. Plus you can titrate up and down. But first find a doc to try a clomid test. You may do fine on clomid or hcg. Trt is for life, most can't get off of it. You should also consider gel if you do not have small children.
 
Dude, get some 27g insulin pins and hit your delts twice a week. Steady levels, never think about absorption or contaminating the kids
 
The only doctor around that I can afford will make me come in every two weeks and give me the shoots. Or pellets every 5 months. I have little girls so the cream isn't an option.

Well I don't know what to tell you bro. If you do injections your damn sure going to need one more often than every other week
 
Between pellets and injections in-office every two weeks, my choice would be 'find another doctor'. Unless you live in the Alaskan wilderness, you can find another doctor. Besides, who wants to go in every two weeks to go get shots? And every two weeks will put you on a roller coaster. You need smaller shots every week. You are a 38 year old adult, find a doctor that treats you like one.

Some call it doctor shopping. I call it expectations for customer service. Personally, I am 37 and bill by the hour. I would laugh in the face of any physician who told me to come in every other week.

Sure, he can come off....only problem being is that his body swill just revert back to the baseline where he's at now....low T.

I'd stay away from the pellets(painful, expensive, and not as efficient) and go with injections. Weekly injections. If you find a DR that prescribes bi-weekly, find another Dr. I do 200mg and an AI 2 weekly and I'm right at 1500 and feel like a million bucks.

Be careful of the anti-aging clinics. They can be expensive and insurance may not bite. Good luck!

That was my point. He's not losing anything by trying TRT.

I like my clinic, for what it's worth. Not as cheap as insurance, but not outrageous, and my regular doc wasn't willing to go 200 a week plus AI and HCG, which is standard with the guys I use. I'm also right around 1500 and also feel great.

****, my bad! lol I misread. I'll never even think about coming off. I'm a damn different guy now. Guys need to lose the stigma with TRT and find the right Dr. It's life changing.
 
Close enough Wisconsin. Well just left doctors office and I went with the shots. He letting me do them myself. And the first one is killing my ass. Can u still use Preworks ? Thanks for the help brothers !

What's the dosage per week he prescribed?
 
I don't see anything on the paper work but the test and pins are coming to the house in 3 to 5 days. He did say something about 800 mg and he thought it would get me in the 700-800 range. But I thought liquids are measured different. I guess I will call in the morning to double check dosage. When I talked to him he was super cool and willing to play with the dose and timing. Hopefully this gets me up and going agian.

Anti aging clinics are the best for TRT

Of course you can. When doing the self injections, 1 thing that has helped stop any PIP is to go slow with the injection. If I pin and just plunge hard and fast i get sore as hell the next day or 2. Go slow!
 
Well I hope it's not just in my head but dame I feel good ( about 19 hours after first pin). I'm doing 5-3-1 and can't wait to get to the gym to squat!!!
 
I felt a little difference the day after my first shot. But normally it shows up in 5 -7 days, you will notice a little more energy and drive, then at 4-5 weeks you will know that it's working. I draw with a 18g needle and inject with a 25g needle, everyone has their way of doing it. Wipe the spot with an alcohol wipe, wait till it dries, draw and switch to the smaller gauge needle, allow one drop of the testosterone to run down the needle and into my delt it goes. I have injected with both 5/8 and 1" for me there isn't much difference going in. I like the delts over anywhere, but I have injected biceps, pecs...calves, but only once I shot the the upper leg...felt like I got hit with a baseball bat the next day. The more you inject the easier it will become.....the results.....priceless.!!!
 
Has anybody had headaches or sore joints after there shots? My be the weather or bad luck but both have been bad lately.
 
I have not heard of anyone having these problems with pharmaceutical testosterone. There are risks when injecting underground products, but as long as you keep sterile (wipe the top of the vial with alcohol pad and your injection area and let dry, don't reuse pins etc.) you should be fine.

I have not had headaches or sore joints and inject twice a week sub-Q and once IM.

Got a friend that does pellets. He claims that a 3000mg pellet keeps his T levels at 1000 for the first 2 months and then tapers down a bit on the third. He likes em..
 
As I understand it, hCG can desensitized the leydig cells over time. Are you guys who take hCG not concerned about that?

Yeah only if ur running high doses. When on cycle, hcg doesnt cause any more desensitization than the T is already doing.

100iu daily or 250iu twice weekly isnt going to desensitize the leydig cells WHILE CYCLING steroids.

Had my test, was 278, my Dr. prescribed Androderm 19.5 mg , delivery of 4mg / day ,( patch ) had a retest after 3 months range is 470 now. I would prefer the injectable as the patch burns the hell out of my skin , I mentioned to my Dr. , and her reply was " I can discontinue " . Do you think a specialist would be more approachable ?

This is a bit of a thread hijack, but yes. Their are doctors who will listen to you.
 
Well just came back from getting my blood work and my test is 1200. That's pretty dame high I think. The doc looked shocked . He said he thinks I responding to well. Anybody think that's to high? Other then some aggression that I'm getting better at controlling I feel f ing great. In a side note what do you guys think of doing a cycle of extreme mass while in test?

I wouldn't say it's too high if you feel good and your E2 levels are good and you aren't experiencing negative sides. Test is more than just about a number. I'm hovering around 1400-1500 and my doc is keeping it there for now but we are keeping a close eye on my hematocrit. I feel like a million bucks. Some would say that's too high but the rest looks good and I go back in 2 weeks. What did he do to your dose?

I agree with 100%. Hell, I talked my doc into twice a week when I was on replacement! Even weekly gives too much inconsistency, at least with cyp. You can get away with weekly for enanthate, but bi-weekly is futile.
 
I tried the shoots but was not likening the sore ass so I tried the pellets. I have 8. It hurt for two days and now I'm great. Were going to keep tabs on the numbers and see how long they last. So far I love it. Plus I'm a beast in the gym.

I like the ability to control things better with the shots. I've never been sore from a shot except once when I plunged as hard n fast as I could. Since then easy breezy.
 
I agree with having control but so far I noticed with the shots my mood went up and down as they kicked and weakened. With the pills is been even and smooth. Maybe I did something wrong I guess. Time will tell. I'll let you know
 
I know one guy on pellets and he has nothing bad to say about them. They are the lowest maintenance TRT option. He obviously responded well to them but he gets a 3000mg pellet every 3 months. He claims an 1100 ng T level for 2 of the three months then it tapers down to 700-800 by end of third month.

Yeah, the proper TRT would be Test Sus or Prop fpr everyday injections in the AM around 10-20mg/day.
 
i understand your frustrations my friend, i am 48 and have been on test cypionate for 2 years now,on and off, mostly on 200 mg per week
my numbers were 278, and i experience the same effects as yourself .i think you making a wise choice in going to see a dr, thats what i did and let me tell you that i feel better than ever , be careful though, it can have side effects if not properly used.
use but dont abuse, mi libido is incredible, my strengh off the charts, i am calm and happy, i lost 30 lbs in 2 months
when you do it you have to have a clean diet, is paramount i think, that way you minimize side effedts, take a supplement like erase pro is amazing, my blood test came back great, my estrogeen was dowm a lot to normal levels even with test, no need for pharma products, try this is great
