35 Going on Death?

And how it gives me that tingly feeling all over.... oh are we still talking about the cherry flavor? Oooops.:ntome:

Prostate issues can afflict any male at any age. I had severe BPH at 26 it was caused, by of all things, chlorinated water. Haven't touched tap water since and haven't had a bout since. The wife makes sure the fluids get changed regularly, lol!

Good luck and good medicine,
ROB

UPDATE: Had to change Dr apptmnt cuz of work. Was supposed to go in and hear how my bloodwork was good to go. The same day I had to cancel, I get a call from the Dr office. They need me to keep my next appointmentn and I have to call as soon as I get the message. I know my $15 isn't going to save them from bankruptcy so I figure something is up and I call them. Well, dumba$$ (me), it appears you're cholestorol is a little high and the Dr wants to try a different med - OK. And it seems your thyroid might be a little on the slow side and the Dr wants to call in a script for you. I'm thinking about this one and I tell her to go ahead - better to have it ready in case I decide to along with it than it is to try and get them to do it later. The funny part to that is I asked the lady on the phone "that would explain why I'm fat right?" Her reply, well it could be a cause for people being overweight I guess. I let her off easy and moved on to my next question - how did everything else look? Everything else looked fine. And that was that.

So, I'm thinking about this for a day or so before committing to the thyroid meds - I know I did a cycle of t3 and superdrol which would explain the elevated cholesterol and the thyroid slowdown, right? Then, the more I thought about it the more aggrevated I became because my diet has been as clean as it has ever been, I exercise 4-5X a week, I'm already on 2 scripts for stuff that I know I can shake if I can shake the tobacco use - bp and cholesterol. The prostate meds I don't ever want to give up regardless of why I needed them in the first place, which I have since corrected. Here comes the magnificent genius at my finest, as I'm rationalizing this thing through, I think to myself - self, if you get the thyroid meds, it might help you lose some more weight. Now that is music to my ears and all I needed to go get the script. It took me another day of reading the labels and more thinking before actually starting it.

So now, here I am taking 4 scripts for stuff that can be fixed. 1 issue already is, 2 can be greatly assisted with the cease of tobacco and 1 I believe just needed more time to recuperate itself. This last issue, the thyroid thing, I don't believe I did any perm damage as I have felt fine and not any less energetic or motivated than any other time in my life. I've actually felt pretty damn good here lately. I will say my weight has climbed to 200 but not in my a$$ or waist like it usually does, I know this because my work pants still fit. So I'm thinking the weight training and diet is definitely working for me. But I don't know jack anyways. I guess the biggest question I am now facing is whether or not to come clean with the Dr regarding the "supplement usage?" I just read someones post about his shrinkage that didn't turn out too good and when he did turn to the Doc for advice the doc wanted nothing to do with it - that's one of my concerns as well. My wife keeps telling me to tell the dr, and I would if asked the right questions. But, I dont know, maybe I should tell her anyways. Any opinions? My hope is that if I do tell her she'll offer to pin me in the a$$ whenever I decide to go that route, but I guess that only happens in costa rica? I can't blame her for getting po'ed either. I don't know?

Like I said, never felt better, but what do I know.
