Jerry Jones: Don't need to decide Tony Romo's future by Thursday
Jeremy Kerley agrees to 3-year, $10.5M deal with 49ers
Ex-Alabama LB Reuben Foster booted from NFL combine

So former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett -- a player who is certainly in that conversation to be the top pick -- said Saturday at the NFL scouting combine that he has an apology ready for the Cleveland Browns.

Jets GM Mike Maccagnan: 'We're open for business in every round'

Foster got into a heated altercation with a hospital worker on Friday, multiple sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter, and he was sent home prior to team interviews Friday night and testing Saturday.

Two of the best defensive back prospects in this year's NFL draft played in the same secondary at Ohio State, and both carried to the scouting combine some injury questions that their new employers will have to answer before they are selected.

The father of Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Kenny Clark, in prison the past 12 years for murder, lost his latest and perhaps best chance to overturn the conviction that sent him away for 55 years to life without the possibility of parole.

The Patriots offered their No. 32 overall pick in this year's NFL draft to the Saints for receiver Brandin Cooks, but New Orleans rejected the proposal with the hope of landing a better pick from another team, NOLA.com reported Saturday, citing multiple sources.

I think Charles could have one or two good more years in a RB committee system. I am from Detroit and can still remember the Lions passing on him trading and then getting Kevin Smith!
I wonder if their careers would have flip flopped. I thought Smith was absolutely electric the few times I remember watching him.

That is a good point! At that time here in Detroit we seemed to do that to players. Just look at Joey Harrington, LOVED him in Oregon. Had a gunslinger mentality and then let's draft him and put him in a west coast offense. We crushed him here

49ers releasing WR Torrey Smith

The Buccaneers offered Mike Glennon a contract that would make him the highest-paid backup quarterback in the NFL, a source confirms to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Glennon, 27, however, wants to be a starting QB and plans to test free agency, according to Caplan.

The Bills cleared about $6 million in cap space by releasing Carpenter, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, long-snapper Garrison Sanborn, safety Phillip Thomas and tight end Gerald Christian. The Bills now have about $24 million in salary-cap space but have only 45 players under contract for 2017

Jermaine Gresham, Cardinals agree to four-year contract

Giants needed a WR2. I dont think that rookie Shepard is as great as NFL Twitter nerds try to force on us.

Shep is pretty damn good imo

But Shep and OBJ both under 6 foot. Marshall gives us some size outside.

"Us" makes it difficult to say "your" 1st rd pick is just a guy...

...sorry couldnt resist, I'm antagonizing now and it's not fair LOL

Wagner 9M/year with Lions. Means Reiff is probably done there.
Chandler Jones landed a huge deal with Cards
Garçon looking at making $16M this year with 49ers

Giants still need some O Line help, but very solid pick up imo. Get some protection and just decent run game and that team is gonna be pretty beast on both sides.

Hankins will probably be gone, making DT a need. OL is in shambles and it's a down OL class. Reiff and Warford/Lang/Leary would be great pickups. Looking like Okung is the target tho

- Lots of talk about Romo possibly going to Denver/Houston if released. Supposed to be released tomorrow
- Brandon Marshall 2yrs $12 million in NY
- Pierre Garcon may be on verge of going to SF
- Vernon Davis said on Snapchat he is signing for 3 more years with Washington
- Cheif's TE busted for Marijuana possession
- Bethea (Safety) is released from San Fran
- Tyrod Taylor gets extended contract from Bills
- Hoyer to sign with 49'ers
- Colts to trade Dwayne Allen for 4th round draft pick to NE
- Rodgers is looking to maybe get a higher paid contract
- Jags are looking to sign Barry Church

Pats traded their fourth for Dwayne Allen and a sixth. Wow

Colts got lowballed imo. I liked Dwayne, injuries have prevented consistency in his case imo. Hopefully Doyle pans out - he played well last year. I really liked the colts with 2 TE sets though, but Eric Swoope came on late and showed some promise.

Giants in the running for Brandon Williams. Interesting considering Snacks, but would be a 336 lb and 339 lb NT in the middle of the line. Snacks showed some pass rushing potential last year.

Giants could pick up great D-Lineman in the draft this year, and save some $$ in free agency. There is a lot of good defensive lineman coming up.

My buddies just told me the Bears are looking to sign Glennon for 3 years 43 Mil

Agreed. I'd rather sign someone like Nick Fairly or even Hankins on a cheap deal and spend the money on Leary/Warford/Lang, Reiff/Okung, and Latty Murray/Lacy. Shore up the OL in a weak class, and give the flexibility to draft QB early without taking a hit to SB chances.

Yep. And they're still gonna draft a QB. Crazy.

Packers locked down Perry
Pats signing Stephen Gilmore for $14M year
Djax to Tampa
Whitworth getting $12m with rams.
Britt to browns for $32m over 4
Torrey smith 3 years $15m with eagles
Browns signing Joel Bitonio to a hyoooooge deal. Also signing JC Tretter
Broncos sign Ronald Leary to 4 year, $35m deal with $20M guaranteed.

Pats and Saints working out a deal that will send Butler to NO in exchange for Cooks. Wow

Kenny Britt will finish his career with never once having a good QB. At least he got paid.

Smith is an improvement over what they've got currently, but I would've liked Jeffery or Marshall. Hopefully, they can get Alshon as well (they are apparently making a "strong push" to sign him).

Eagles don't have a ton of salary cap space, but getting FA receivers will let them use their few picks on DBs and hopefully a RB.

Jeffrey may happen.

Browns sign another OG... huge deal for Kevin Zietler. $60M over 5 years with $30M guaranteed. Solid OL if they can get a QB and RB

- Kirk Cousins is appealing to be traded
- Bears to sign Glennon a 3 year deal
- Eagles release Connor barwin to free up cap space
- Kenny Britt expected to sign 4 year deal with Browns
- Patriots "are considering" a trade which would send CB Malcolm Butler to New Orleans in exchange for Brandin Cooks.
- 3 Yr Deal with Andrew Whitworth to the Rams
- Desean Jackson will go to Tampa Bay assuming no breakdown in final deals.
- Nick perry to resign with Green Bay
- Matt Kalil is on track to join his brother Ryan on the Carolina Panthers' offensive line,
- Bears to Release Jay Cutler
- Stephon Gilmore expects to sign 5 year deal with Pats, lan Branch, meanwhile, has agreed to return to the Patriots on a two-year deal
- Bears looking to sign Mike Glennon to 3yr/45$ million deal
- Bears to sign Quintin Demps to 3 yr / $13.5 Mil contract

Jeffrey may happen.
He would be a huge asset for Wentz.

They also need to start building some OLine depth. Eagles have talented OLinemen, but they are getting older and the team needs to seriously consider who is going to fill those spots.

I really would've liked to see D-Jax come back, but he would probably have cost too much. Guess I won't be able to pull that jersey out until he retires lol.

Kelce is on the chop block, too. NFC East hasn't made much noise yet

Saints signed Larry Warford. The three big G are gone already.

Fasano to Miami.
Chris baker to Bucs. Washington lost a lot of talent and their QB doesn't even want to be there. GM isn't even allowed in building. Dumpster fire

I have seen some of the rumors about that, bur I would be a little surprised if he isn't an Eagle next season. They released Barwin already. I guess they couldn't find any trade partners for him.

Not complaining about Barwin. Seems like he always had his best games of the season against us lol

Texans traded osweiler and a 2nd to Cleveland to get rid of him. Woooow. They're gonna trade for romo now imo

I don't think he's their QB. They had a ton of cap space. Basically bought a 2nd round pick. Can cut him next season I believe.
I know that. Just what he did to Houston last year was a shame. He should refund them that money
