That's on the higher end of what he was looking for IIRC. He's probably worth that amount, but it will make it hard for them to fill the other holes in the roster. It's a genius move imo.
Eagles got Jeffrey for 1 year 14M

I'm surprised by that because I think the Vikes have a better chance of having immediate success next season. He turned down more with more guaranteed with Vikings. Basically betting on himself to stay healthy and cash in next year
I see Jeffrey as a physical receiver, not really a tactician. I dunno enough about Wentz to say if he's willing to throw into coverage. But Sam Bradford is ABSOLUTELY not right for Jeffrey at all. He'll never throw to WR who's being shadowed or doubled.I'm surprised by that because I think the Vikes have a better chance of having immediate success next season.
I have seen talk that Wentz makes the Eagkes an attractive team for FA receivers. He may have just been banking on Wentz being better than Sam next season.
It's a genius move imo.

A genius move to set him up to get injured by game 6.
Just like every other browns QB.
It don't matter who you put on that team and behind that line, they are destined to get destroyed.
The browns signed 3 top OL today lol. They have one of the best left tackles in the league and now have one of the better interior.
Brock isn't going to be their starting QB. They took the cap hit for the second round pick. They had $100M in cap space. Seriously a genius move lol.
Well see how great of a season the browns do have with the signing. Sure they got $$$ to spend. But they have a lot of gaps to fill before they can be considered a good team.
I highly doubt RG3 will be the starter, that guy takes one more hit like Romo and he may as well retire.
They should be picking Defense with both of their first round picks to really try and make themselves contenders in the AFC north alone and win more then 1 game.
They have 23 picks in the next two years and like 20 rookies this year.
I'm kind of surprised nobody has made a move for Teddy Bridgewater yet.... I think he has 2 years left on a low salary contract. It would seem Bradford is their guy going forward.... Seems weird to let him ride the bench when he could start somewhere else.
"As of Thursday evening, the Browns have two firsts (Nos. 1 and 12), two seconds, a third, two fourths, three fifths and a sixth in the 2017 draft. They have their own first-rounder in 2018 and three seconds, a third, two fourths, a fifth, two sixth and a seventh.
So they’ve got ample picks to trade, but the Pats are apparently insisting on Cleveland giving up the first overall pick in any deal for Garoppolo.
If they trade #1 overall away, Cleveland will be making the worst decision ever
I can see them doing it because they suck. At this point it Is Garrett all the way unless its traded. I could see sending their second 1st rounder, but not #1 overallThis is cleveland. Would that surprise you if they make a "Bad" Decision. They tend to do it every year
I really see them picking up Garrett or a DL from Alabama for first round.

I think Trubisky goes early, Watson or Kizer to the Cardinals and Watson or Kizer to the Giants as Eli's replacementWith how heavy they are going in FA, it makes sense to draft defense. Let alone Garrett could be the best all around player in the draft.
I am actually quite curious where Watson is going to drop in this draft.. Kaizer is also a great QB and the QB From NC. I doubt all 3 will go first round, but we won't know until then.
I can see Watson in NY. I can see Kizer in AZGiants won't draft Kizer. His footwork is horrible. Would not be surprised if Kizer falls behind some other QBs.
I'd gladly take Watson in NY thorough. Joshua Dobbs, too.
This is gonna be fun! Cousins not afraid to utilize Prior's agressive skill set (well, at least what we saw the first half of last yr). Also, cant wait to see what Docston can do opposite Prior.Prior to Redskins in 1 year deal
I'm surprised the Browns were willing to let him walk.
I'm also surprised Philly didn't take a real shot at him. He played phenomenally last year.
Titans wanted him and at 8 mil a year, I would've been fine with thatI'm surprised the Browns were willing to let him walk.

Jeffrey did, but Pryor is not that much more expensive than Smith and he is likely a better No. 2 than Smith would be. Smith agreed to a longer deal, but that won't matter if he can't produce.I don't know why the redskins didn't try to lock him down for longer. Jeffrey hurt yalls cap a lot
They have the best front office in the NFL. No question about it.Kony Ealy and a 3rd round pick Traded from the Panthers to the Patriots for a second rounder. How do the pats do this year after year
I am glad the guy we gave at GM came from there. Hope he swings deals for usThey have the best front office in the NFL. No question about it.
Was Butler not a part of the deal then? Damn
And I wouldn't be surprised if they get the #1 overall pick too.He was originally but Pats were able to negotiate a better deal.
Pats got Dwayne Allen, Kony Ealy, Brandin Cooks, and Stephon Gilmore. Incredible.

I'm not sure how the other teams let this happen every year.God, I hate them, but I have to admit that they do the business supremely well.
Titans offered #18 for Cooks and the saints balked at it. Than take #32. They may not know lower number is better lolI'm not sure how the other teams let this happen every year.
