Nah. I don't have much of a life outside of the gym, but going in and hitting numbers day after day gets nerve-wracking for me. I can think of six to eight sessions this training cycle that absolutely terrified me. 8 rep squats with 355, 8 rep deads with 365, speed squats with 385, pretty much any rep or speed deadlift or squat day. Then the heavy days about 5 weeks out, before I really had momentum on my side. I had no idea where I'd be. That scares the shït out of me. I love it, I wouldn't trade it, but I hate it at the same time.

It's why I got the results, though. Got out of my comfort zone.

Starting to feel like a cut. Hungry as hell. Little overheated. Took Metabolic Nutrition fat burners, pretty potent stuff. Jittery, thermo effect is high. Water not seeming to help at the moment. Definitely not cutting off water until bedtime.

Oh yeah, nauseated too.

Didn't pick up BCAAs. Honestly, I've eaten more protein per day this week than I have all training cycle. I've been eating a lot of food so I don't get hungry and binge. I don't think muscle loss is an issue during a one week water cut, unless one goes full retard and tries to eat the bare minimum. Carroll says in the e-book that for whatever reason, he and all his clients seem to add a little boost of muscle after each cut. He claims a pound.

It doesn't matter what you weigh on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, even the morning of the weigh in. It only matters what you weigh when you step on the scale. I will not be under weight for more than twenty minutes, I promise you that.
 
Ate a salad with grilled chicken and ranch dressing from Mickey D's. And we're back.
 
I must say, long car rides are much nicer at 225 than 240. HOPEFULLY 225. The scale seemed to get jacked up from riding in the car. Stepping on certified scale in 45min.

There's no set age limit for one to become jaded, just a certain set of experiences that have to occur.

Set your calendar for twenty years from now. Ask me then (I'll be 153) if you think you had enough 'experiences' at 21 to be jaded...

I will NOT be doing a Sean. I will step on that scale at 220.5 or 235.5 The local high school wrestling team occupied the locker room and as a result, I stepped on the scale at EFS. I weighed 228.8 with socks, undies, jeans, and a t-shirt. We're guessing my actual weight was 226. Kinda stalling out of late. I cut water at 5. Only allowed 2oz every time I piss. Started dandelion root. Hoping to float, sweat, spit, and piss so I don't have to spend too long in the sauna. Not wanting to sauna.

Also, magnesium citrate can kiss my ass. After I drink a bottle of it, too. Had about 7-10 bowel movements, all liquid peppered with solids.

LOL. You may want to try AloeMax. I really like it. It's easier to control than mag citrate.

Scale says I'm 223. I won't even dignify it and say that it's what I weigh. I should have stuck with one scale, even if it was wrong. I'm fücking scale paranoid at this point. Considering I weigh in at 5pm tomorrow, I'm thinking I can hold off on sauna time until after Lamonster weighs in.

My plan (I hope they let me execute it) is to check my weight on the actual meet scale at 11am, and then have six hours to play with. It's not like I'm weighing in, I'm just seeing where I'm at.

Well, I'd say you'll need to hit up some water tonight into tomorrow morning, then. Don't take time off from the water, I know pissing's annoying, but going 32 hours without water is far more bothersome.

Yeah, hammer down on water tomorrow morning until you start pissin and then cut it off. Should be 20 hours and you'll trick your body into flushing.

Visited EliteFTS today. Had a nice chat with Ronda again, went around the warehouse and bought super heavy elbow sleeves (byebye tendinitis!), spud suspension straps (strap suspended GMs instead of pin suspended and home squatting safety and peace of mind!), the stiffer version Grip4orce (work the forearm extensors and grip, did I mention I'm done with tendinitis?), and more more arctic balm. Was given a new EFS beanie and a shaker cup. Hell yeah.

After that, my buddy who lives in the Columbus area did his mock meet. It was a damn 45 minute mock meet, with the quickness.

Squat
We were in the process of warming him up, coaching form points, etc and had him hit a single with 315. We asked him what his PR was, and he pointed to the bar. Ok, first attempt and first PR out of the way, I'm already an excellent coach, although inattentive. Second attempt he went 335 and nailed it. Third was 350, he missed it. Never had that weight on his back and he looked a little fearful on the walkout. He took it to depth and tried to GM it up. We saved him.

Squat, 2/3 PR 335

Bench
The most he'd ever pressed was 245, which he did for a set of five. Who's never maxed on bench before? Weirdo. So he opened with 245. Hit well, smooth. Never dealt with a pause, so he was slow off his chest. Went 265 second. Smooth, better than 245. We called 275, he called 280. Let him get two cracks at 280, both stalled at a 2 board. I would've asked him to narrow his grip at the beginning if I had known this would be the case.

Bench 2/4 265, 20lb PR

Deadlift,
He's good off the floor, need to teach him a little bit. I'd seen him pull 365 on video, so I had him open there. Crushed. 405 next, hit well. 425 slowed a bit at lockout. We gave him a 4th attempt with 455. He got it up to just shy of lockout, grinded, finished the rep. His hips shoot up first, so we'll lighten the weight and hammer perfect form home for his next training cycle. Maybe this time I'll get him to actually follow the program instead of getting tangential. Like this post.

Deadlift 4/4 455

335/265/455 for a 1055 mock meet total at a bodyweight of 180. Sweetness. He got fired up moving the weights he did, I think I got him hooked. Lot of room for improvement in form which will push his weights up bigtime. Next time, he's getting on that damn platform.
 
My scale says 220.9, we shall see in one hour how the real scale is.
 
Not sucking in, just sucked out. That's relaxed. I couldn't get my stomach to come that far in if I vacuum posed this time last week. Mah belly is gone. :( My quads are separated something nasty, for a fat kid.

I dip, buddy. I spit all day. Are you familiar with the concept of floating weight? Your body loses weight on it's own through respiration and metabolism. I float four tenths every hour and a half anyway. I might be able to have some sippy time later, even.

I used to check my weight between classes on match days, I'm intimately familiar.

Tummy is shrunken, for now. Cheeks are pretty hollow, too. I think that'll be the biggest marker of a good bloat. I'll take a face selfie right before I step on the scale.
 
Meet scale is 2-3lbs lighter than my scale, as per Lamonster weighing 193. Thrilled doesn't begin to describe how I feel right now. Suffering today.
