10 machines to avoid at the gym

some of those (leg press, seated mil. press, behing neck pulldowns) are a part of my routine.. Meh, I assume what MSN says doesn't apply to everyone.. Namely me in this instance..
 
One I would add: The standing calf machine. It puts way too much stress on my shoulders.

When I stopped using that machine, the pain I had when benching went way down.
 
Don't forget the Drinking Fountain. Can put undue stress on the fingers and wrist, while shocking your system with the temperature change from the sudden infusion of cold. And don't forget, water in sufficient quantities has been demonstrated to be FATAL!!

I agree with their choices of the hip abductor and leg extension machines, but not with the lat pulldown because everyone isn't able to do pull ups.

They only meant the behind the neck lat pulldown because of the stress on your shoulders.

I totally love the front lat pulldown. It totally gives you a V-taper.
