1-ad and drug testing

I play football at a d-1 school and just got popped by the ncaa for a steriod test. I had been taking 1-ad for 2 weeks at 2 pills a day. Any idea if my test levels were off enough to fail the 6 to 1 ratio?

How long since you've been off?

not off 2 pills a day of 1ad. hell, the reccommended dose is 3/day isn't it? that's barely enough to suppress your HPTA. the metabolites of it might produce a positive on a steroid screen though.

Bump this guy's...I never did 1-AD so im not sure but 2 pills a day does not seem like much.I know some peeps here had this done before.Ironemike tell them you want another test, better yet go to your own doctor and get a blood test...

there is really no appeal process.............when you piss in the big cup they pour it into two smaller cups.......the appeal process is they test the second cup.........what is f'ked up about it is my buddy had taken a cycle of winny and test 250 and he passed

Tough break bro...sorry to hear about this. I got to this thread a lil too late, but the same thing happened to my one friend. Also, some with another friend and bodybuilding, and yet another friend with powerlifting. And what you said about the one guy and winny...ive heard different stories, but i guess its what they are actually looking for in the actual blood tests.
So what happens with you now? No more playing? Suspended? what happened?

Some chemicals get out of your system quicker than others. I've also heard (haven't seen the science to back it up) that you can "clean" out your system with certain herbs/supplements. It would be nice to have a sticky which shows how long certain chems stay in your system for the sports enthusiasts in here. Maybe some of our chemical genius's can get one rolling

Something as simple as gallons and gallons of water with big doses of creatine and b vitamins to keep them from flagging it as diluted or whatever has been effective for some.... just something a little birdie told me.

I am done with footballl..........this was my senior year.......I am having shoulder surgery in december and after rehab I am thinking about getting into powerlifting or strongman competiton. This will be my second shoulder surgery in less than a year. I was not supposed to be playing anyway. I still finisehd my carreer with as a 3 year starter and went 2 seasons without giving up a sack. I am hoping to still make all-conference and all-american this year. I am suspended from games only...not off the team so I am still eligable for all awards. Thanks for the concern....I got a raw deal.....but my shoulder was so messed up I was ready for football to be over. Before my first shoulder surgery I had a bench of 485 and squated 640 so I am looking forward to getting healed up and hitting the 500 mark
