for example, i work every saturday night and dont get out until 1030-11. If i eat a big meal around 11-1145 and goto bed around one, wouldn't a lot of it be stored as fat?
I too am a server and I have the same problem as dunimous... As far as the power walking goes, if im trying to bulk up, and im power walking 4-6 during a shift, would you recommend to up my carb intake for my meal before work? I too eat a big meal before waiting.
Thanks!
I really appreciate all the advice. I think I'm going to just have to experiment myself.
I've been doing pyramids lately and my strength is rising but my mass really isn't....
Hello all,
I am trying to put on good healthy muscle mass. I am not bothered if I gain some fat, for I know how to burn it off come spring.
However, my question is, If I am trying to reach this goal of healthy mass gain should I do high sets/low reps, pyramid, or what?!?!
Everywhere I read...
Hello all,
I have a new schedule to where i can only lift once or twice a week.
My question is, is it possible to maintain my muscle mass and physique without as much lifting? (keeping in mind, I continue a strict diet)
Any past experience, or knowledge upon this would help immensely...
Thanks man, I do appreciate the advice.
My only question is, you said only complex carbs before bed. If I night train should those carbs in my pwo meal be all complex too?
In your opinion, what is the sufficient amount of carbs (High/Low GI) someone like myself (6ft 5in/195-200lbs) could eat an hour or two before bed without my body converting it to fat?
Thanks man!
This makes sense. But i feel like it can't be that simple. If it is (that simple of an idea) there wouldn't be so many people being so cautious about loading up on carbs/fats before bed just to meet your macros. Does that make any sense?
Hello all,
I am having a hard time reaching my total macros. When I get out of work (10-1030pm) i still need about 50g-P 75g-C and 25g-F to reach my daily macros.
Not knowing if this is the right way to do it or not, I haven't been consuming the last 50/75/25 before bed b/c i am worried it...
Well I personally believe whole foods are more beneficial than PPs but I also think PP is more beneficial directly after a workout....
I usually drink a scoop of powder with a banana and 2 pixy stix. If I replaces the powder with eggs/chicken/beef should I still take the banana and Pixys?
Hello all,
I am all out of protein powder (ON Hydro-whey) and I buy my stuff online. I dont get paid until next week and by the time i get paid it will take 3-6 days for it to get to my house.....
Any recommendations on what I should consume right after a workout?
THanks!!
Yes I have increased my calorie intake progressively but the weight just doesn't seem to put on. A few weeks ago I ate like a monster and I got up to 202lbs but I'm about 99% sure it was mostly fat. I lost definition in my chest and obliques. The last two weeks I up-ed my cardio and got back...
M- chest/tricep
T- back/bicep
W- cardio/abs
T- shoulder/tricep
F- legs/biceps
Sa- cardio/abs
Su- OFF
Each workout takes me between 50min-80min
And as far as diet, i eat very clean. Basically haven't had fast food, baked goods, soda, candy, etc. in the last 2 years (including holidays!!)
I'm 6ft 5in and started my bulk 12 months ago at 169lbs. I'm currently 195.3lbs
My goal is to get to 210lbs by October. But the thing is I have been 195 the past 4 months. What do I do?!?
Truth be told I used to be 6ft 3in, and 247lbs of lard... I lost so much weight but now am trying to gain...
If you have a Kroger, you MUSt try this recipe.... a half cup of cottage cheese with a CarbMaster yogurt (only sold at Kroger) and a handful of your favorite unsalted nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pistachios)
