How many workouts to regain conditioning?

I have no doubt I can return as I have been fit all my life and still am. Lost muscle mass/strength. I am gauging the 100 heavy workout metric. Or if it is to be a longer period. T levels naturally very high.

How many workouts to regain conditioning?

I read the military considers 100hours of PT as sufficient to develop a level of conditioning sufficient to withstand the rigourous of being a foot soldier. Have been away from a dedicated schedule since Jan 1. Trained nearly every day from 2012 - 2023. I am setting 100 continuous heavy...

Diagnosed with small internal hernia. What type of belt to use?

I function on autopilot. Brain and physical activity keeps me distracted. When idle I revert through the various grief stages and it is ugly.

Are 18 year olds really adults?

I was. Ironically, I made more incorrect decisions later in life when I had much money and life experience than I did then when I was poor.

Used the IV method late last year after a bad cold. Felt no difference. Maybe arm felt a bit warm and that may be psychological.

    Bench press issues

Understand the OP entirely. I find bb bench press to be an unnatural movement. Always feel pressure at shoulder pocket. DBs feel more natural due to having more freedom in terms of comfortable positioning of the db when in the low position. That being said, The difference stated by the OP is...

    Movies and tv shows discussion

Regarding war films on Netflix: 1.Operation Mincemeat. Do not recommend. The 1956 film is factual and not juvenile as this one is. 2. All Quiet on the Western Front. Follows the book some and far less than previous version with invented subplots not related to the book. Still very watchable. 3...

    Movies and tv shows discussion

Netflix airing a Spanish series which is an over the top modern male dealing with new norms series "alpha males", I thought the most ironic part was the gays guys are the only ones leading drama free and happy lives.

Any Good Threads for Lifting Cues?

I started out watching Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength Youtube videos- how to bench, how to squat. Taught very well what to focus on. I thought it was very well done. And I learned never to copy what I see others do at the gym. So much bad form there.

Wow. Hipflexor pain is truly debilitating.

I never stretch or similar. Do much cardio- sprinting, running, elliptical, spinning. (stopped spinning as well as that was recommended when pain in the area) I do recall the original burst of pain on July 31, 2022 when squatting deep and heavier than the norm and going for extra reps. Mojo...

    Anyone collect things?

I think it is one of those ingrained habits from childhood. I recall being a heavy book reader since 2nd grade.

    Anyone collect things?

Books. Have over 3000. Yes, I read them. Some are stinkers and do not get rereads. I think the Bible is the only one in the house I have not read cover to cover.
