There's a guy at my gym that's walks in, does 10 jumping jacks while screaming into the mirror and flexing on his reflection. Then does about 15 seconds of high knees then leaves.... I've seen this almost every day for the past 2 months.
Yea obv the running is a big one, start maxing out your runs instead of sticking to a certain distance every time. The only way your gonna get better is pushing yourself, another big one is ruck sack marches... Go for a long hike with around 60 lbs on your back to get your feet used to it.
