Low Back/SI Joint? Please see pictures!

I've been dealing with a nagging injury for a year now. My left part of my low back/upper glute (the spot is RIGHT below the pointy bone) gets really sore and causes a sharp pain after squatting/deadlifting/leg pressing. Nothing seems to instantly resolve it and it does lessen after a few days...

    Article: Rookie Squat Mistakes

I have some Do Wins with the elevated heel but I still prefer barefoot. I feel like it gives me better stability and ability to press/spread the floor.

    Article: Defending Crossfit

The fact is, the top Crossfit athletes do not achieve their status with WODs alone. They use typical bodybuilding and strongman workouts and supplement them with WODs.

    Article: Understanding Kinesiology Tape

There is zero scientific evidence that the tape provides any lymphatic support. Studies also show that this magic tape doesn't provide any more benefits that regular elastic tape does. PTs are supposed to run their practice based on evidence-based results (unlike chiros) so seeing one promote...

    Article: Understanding Kinesiology Tape

Sad to see a CSCS and PT actually advocate this crap. Studies have shown the only benefit this magic tape provides is psychological.

    My First Injection Today

Well an air embolism can kill you. There isn't an exact amount required since it obviously depends on ones physiology, so it's best to just be smart and minimize any risk possible. But yes, you do make a good point. People inject themselves with who knows what and don't worry.

    Article: The Lies Of Jogging

I've trained with several D1 athletes that eventually went pro (NBA, NFL). The most "jogging" that is done is maybe suicides or sprints with very short rest periods. Never, ever, did we go on a "jog". Although, cross country and track would Obviously jogging is more sport specific. Most sports...

    ACL Replacement

Depends on your doc. I would not do any cutting or heavily dynamic movement with your legs though. Straight path only. Also strengthen your VMO and hamstrings a lot. Weak hamstrings are a driver for ACL tears

Article: Is Your Personal Trainer Worthwhile?

The picture makes me not want to read this article. I am tired, tired, tired of seeing trainers use these dumb stability/bosu balls instead of basic compound lifts and cardio strengthening. People forget that strength is the basis of athleticism.

    Carpal Tunnel Surgery..Post-Op Training

Thanks guys for the support. I am doing well. I can do a full back and leg workout. I can bench the bar and maybe a few 10's on the side. My grip strength is coming back fast, it's just the palm pain that is holding me back on chest stuff. This is 5 weeks post op come Christmas. Just hit a 425...

Article: Training Body Parts 2x A Week

It will put on weight but the actual muscle mass increase is marginal and negligible. Taking steroids does not lift the weights for you.
