Yeah! Trainers don't have to have the body clients want to possess... Bull****! U are ur own advertisement! Fact!
 
Not fact as the array of individuals whom you may work with will range from elderly, children, athletes, powerlifters, and even tactical units. That being said if your PT is grossly overweight or doesnt seem to hold basic values in regard then he isnt worth the time. Being able to prescribe the proper methods needed for a client to reach their set goal is solely within ones Experience and Education IMO
 
Do t take my words literally... I meant there has to be a standard! Which isn't the case if u look around in most commercial gyms...
 
Plus u still ur own advertisement. Try to disregard the stereotypical image of PT! U can't cater for everyone and you shouldn't.... Do what u r best at and do it the best u can!

Gotya, sadly Ive dealt with my fair share of people see a ad on tv, walk into the gym and just swear it needs to be the same lol. Being your own advertisement does speak volumes for the individuals commitment though
 
Some of the worst trainers I have ever seen are extremely jacked and physically fit looking. If you believe that someone's body dictates knowledge and science you are a fool and submitting to an illusion of knowledge simply based on appearance.

At what point did I say big or ripped?!?! I said fit! There are many different ways exist to be fit! People with common stereotypical thinking... Read what I write don't just look at it and think before u open ur mouth! Thanks

Continue your research and learning. Eventually your eyes will be open and you'll have a new found understanding of exs.
 
The picture makes me not want to read this article. I am tired, tired, tired of seeing trainers use these dumb stability/bosu balls instead of basic compound lifts and cardio strengthening. People forget that strength is the basis of athleticism.
