IGF-2 and carbs

EasyEJL

Never enough
I was wondering how carb sensitive IGF-2 is. I'm not looking to have a meal with it, but was wondering about taking it with grapefruit juice...

GFJ has a low GI if you are taking 100% juice as well as it's insulin lowering properties which is optimal for GH release.

So, in short I drink GFJ with my IGF-2

This was prompted by my prior use of similar type products from another company. The tests that showed the lowered GH levels were with 100g of carbs, and a glass of gfj only has 20-30 anyhow.

I have a neovar question too that is similar, with neovar it says to eat the carb meal with the caps, but the other similar product is eat xx minutes after the caps. just wondering why the difference...

Well bro when measuring insulin response to carbs it isn't just about the amount. It is about the glycemic index and load. 100g of oats vs something like 100g of pasta or rice, you will have less insulin response with the oats.

But from my previous knowledge insulin blunts the release of gh. How much I am not sure, but for instance. When working out to lose weight, you should not consume carbs during the duration of the workout, because this reduces the release of gh when training.

As far as NeoVar my guess would be food does not affect the BA of it;s ingedients.

I know with R-ALA, the BA is greatly reduced with food.

I think with neovar its more about the nutrient partitioning that is my question, it tells you to eat it with 50g complex carbs, vs anabolic pump from USP that tells you to eat the complex carbs 15 minutes after taking. I know its banaba vs berberines, but I thought their overall actions were similar. I need to find a resource for the GI indexes, time to break out the search button :)

I dont think you really need to worry about carb intake with the IGF2. On AN's website it says to take on an empty stomach. Only current product they have that u need to worry about carbs is the neo.

Well, studies have shown that high intake of carbs (100g) suppresses the HGH rise with other l-dopa products, just wondered if AN had any studies or even good anecdotal info on that

Thanks for the help bro, but the issue is the effects carbs have on negating/blunting the release of gh.
