BTW

I think when I installed Linux, I did so with Virtual PC??? So I was running 2 OS at the sametime, but something with the tunneling gave me hick-ups....

yeah, you can install it as a virtual machine over a current host OS, but it's generally really slow if you don't have a decent machine

so I'm just going to dual boot, since I only have my laptop right now

It was a decent machine. I think I will do the same with a dual boot....

it might just have been the amount of memory that the host OS was allowing the guest to use, when I tried VMware's virtual machine the default was 384MB, which probably causes a lot of paging to hard disk

I have my old work's server to mess with now. So, I should be ready to roll.
